Our Favorite Restaurants

Taos has grown in recent years, and boasts several wonderful restaurants. Be sure to call ahead or make reservations so you don't have to wait in line!
Toribios is within walking distance (although I recommend driving) from our house. We often run over to pick up breakfast before skiing. Our favorites include the breakfast burritos and the juevos rancheros. Toribios is also great for a casual lunch. The staff is friendly and we love their Mexican food!

The Taos Cow is a must visit. Their breakfast burritos are out of this world, as well as their juevos guerreros (although their menu is extensive, and you can't go wrong with any item!). We also love Taos Cow's coffee and renown ice creams. Their lunch offerings will also keep you coming back for more :)

Medley has become our "local." It is located a stone's throw from Casa de Campo, and serves amazing New Mexican food. The shoestring fries, anything with green chilies, steaks, bison, trout - everything is perfect. When dining at Medley, you can choose to sit in the more casual bar area, or the adjacent dining room. Both areas serve the same menu. Be sure to order a grapefruit Moscow mule, you won't regret it!

A tiny restaurant that packs a punch, Aceq serves farm to table food in a lovely atmosphere. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, which changes seasonally.

The restaurant at the Blake Hotel, called 192, is stellar. Come for a glass of wine or champagne apres ski, come for a filling lunch of wood fired pizza or a bison burger, or come for a steak dinner with flash fried brussels sprouts. Definitely make a reservation for dinner, 192 fills up fast!

We love St. Bernard for a casual apres drink, or a midday lunch of frito pie. If you get here early enough, you can snag a seat next to the wood burning fireplace and warm up!
