It's close, easy, and delicious. Van and Son (brother and sister) run this place together. It's nothing fancy but it's dine-in or take-out, and it's yummy! Gluten free options available (including spring rolls!).

The shawarma's are hot and as big as your face. Delicious! This is just a little falafel shop in a corner-store, with plastic patio furniture outside. This place is always busy (but not too much) because it's worth it!

Inglewood is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in the city. There are plenty of little microbreweries, a nice selection of shops, and it's close to the river and downtown. I like to grab a snack and coffee in the East Village, swing through the Central Library, and then wander over to Inglewood for an afternoon of window-shopping. Check out Moonstone Creations for local Indigenous beadwork and other crafts, among many other great shops in the area!
