  • Leiligheten ligger svært nær patrik stasjon "jernbane og metro" rundt 5 minutters gange. Som gjør det enklere å bruke offentlig transport. Området er veldig hyggelig og trygt. David er en fantastisk vert som ga oss gode tips om byen om mat og attraksjoner, han foreslo også en flott rute å følge for vår tur. Leiligheten er veldig fin, ren, romslig med komfortable møbler. Vi vil definitivt bestille denne leiligheten for alle besøk til Glasgow.

    My place is close to the SECC, Hydro, TRANSPORT MUSEUM, ART GALLERIES, and there is an abundance of restaurants for dining. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, location, the kitchen, the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, adventurers and business travelers. Transport links for buses and trains are just minutes away. Only 10 mins to the town center and 30 mins into the country side. A cycle route from the back of the building takes you to the city or Loch Lomond and beyond.
    Quiet, real double bed and near all amenities. Pubs, restaurants, museums and parks. All transport available within 2mins walk.
    Place is quite and so are the neighbours.

    Our bedroom had nice window view to small garden. The flat location is great (Partick) close to Dumbarton RD, Byres RD, Partick station, and Glasgow UNI.
    Location: 5 minutes to Byres RD 5 minutes to Partick Station 10 Minutes to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum Riverside is about 500m far 10 minutes to Glasgow UNI, The Hunterian Museum, and Hunterian Art Gallery. To City Center: - 3 minutes walk to Bus stop, duration to the City Center: 15-20 minutes - 5 minutes walk to Partick Station:, duration to City Center 8-10 minutes - 40 minutes by walk. Groceries, Tesco, Morrisons & Lidil , bars, and restaurants are within 3-7 minutes walking.
    -Quite and has lovely local shops . -Super close to 3 main supermarkets; Morrisons, Lidil, and Tesco. -Super close to one of the main transportation points in Glasgow, (Partick Starion) where you can use train, subway, or Buses to explore Glasgow and the areas around it.

  • Selv om vi bodde på Naz's bare for en natt, var det en veldig hyggelig opplevelse. Rommet var rent og veldig fint, om morgenen kunne vi velge mellom et bredt utvalg av frokostmåltider, havregryn, flak osv. Var alle tilgjengelige for oss (hun hadde til og med soyamelk enn den normale, noe som er litt detalj som er ekstremt verdsatt for mennesker på vegansk eller meierifritt kosthold). Kommunikasjonen med Naz var ganske enkel, svarte hun umiddelbart.

    A truly unique option, this modern flat is comfortable and affordable whilst also boasting an enviable location in one of the city's most sought after locations - the West End. You will be staying with a young professional who is well travelled, speaks Spanish and French and is respectful of like minded travellers during their stay. The flat is the perfect size for either 1 or 2 guests (sharing the comfortable double bed). Make use of the fridge, freezer, oven, grill, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, all crockery, glasses and utensils! We also have a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mirrors, shower products, towels, wifi and everything else you can think of.     The West End of Glasgow is often described as 'sophisticated', 'up market', 'trendy', 'arty' or 'hipster'. It is also where so many of the students hang out and as such has an incredible amount of bars and restaurants and has established itself as the most talked about going out area in the city. If bars are not your thing worry not, there is plenty more to do. The flat is close to the large park areas of Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens as well as the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the world class Hydro music venue and SECC. The West End is just the best place in the city and is exactly what you make of it. My flat is located in Partick, an amazing West End neighbourhood with lots of history and tradition. Whilst the famous Ashton Lane, Byres Rd and Finnieston drinking/eating areas are all just a short 10min walk from the flat, Partick also has its own little haunts which I strongly recommend: On your doorstep is Dumbarton Rd, home to 8-10 traditional (and cheaper!) pubs where you'll experience a real friendly Glasgow welcome with live bands and fantastic prices! For example next door to the flat (10 second walk) is Glasgow's oldest bar, a cute little neighbourhood pub, a cosy no-frills place, where you can enjoy a whisky and meet the locals. My balcony also overlooks the cricket ground which interestingly hosted the first ever international football match, Scotland v England, over 140 years ago! Partick is packed full of history and crammed full of shops with everything you could possibly need within 2-3 mins walk!
  • Utrolig hyggelig fyr! Leiligheten og rommet var fint, og Adrian var behjelpelig med det meste. Leiligheten lå perfekt til og det var kort vei til de fleste attraksjonene. Til tross for at tidspunktet for å sjekke ut var 10.00, fikk vi likevel legge igjen bagasjen vår i leiligheten til 18.00, siden toget vårt ikke gikk før da. Tusen takk for hjelpen!

    The flat is a stone's throw from Byres Road and the heart of the west end. Every kind of independent restaurant and cafe right on your doorstep. Glasgow parks and Museums, Glasgow Uni, the Subway is a 3 minute walk from the flat and the train station 10 minutes. The SSE Hydro is a short train journey (one stop) and Finnieston with it's bars and cafes a short walk.
    There is on street parking available but it is not free. If you let me know I can arrange for parking vouchers which are at a reduced rate to the on street parking costs. The hours of paid parking are 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
    The West End of Glasgow is an amazing place and is full of cafes, bars restaurants, yet the flat is on a quiet street and is in the perfect location to experience all that Glasgow has to offer.

  • Hvis du vil ha en autentisk opplevelse av Glasgow, så nyt Kennedy's tenement flat. Leiligheten selv var koselig, hadde en komfortabel seng og en god dusj. Den hadde alt vi trengte. Å være fra Glasgow selv i våre yngre dager, hadde vi en nostalgisk tid å se familien, ha litt kultur (Kelvingrove Art Galleries) og spise og drikke (Roastid Bubbly Jocks). Kennedy hadde en informasjonsfil som var veldig nyttig.

  • Kennedys sted var perfekt for vårt weekendopphold i Glasgow. I en nydelig, rolig gate, beleilig plassert i nærheten av butikker og innen gangavstand til restauranter. Vi kom til Glasgow for å gå til SWG3 musikksted som var bare en kort spasertur / uber turen unna. Leiligheten var ren, en flott størrelse for to av oss, perfekt for det vi trengte.     Since this is an area adjacent to the historic Glasgow university, mostly students live in this area. There is a high school across the road. The street is very quite most of the time. This is located on a heritage trail. There are shops and restaurants on the nearby Great Western Road. Grocery shops like coop, Tesco express and Sainsburys are open till 11pm. Small grocery shop Spar is open 24 hrs. Super store Tesco which is open 24 hrs can be accessed by Taxi and is less than 10 minutes away. You can ask me for further details.

There are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. The flat is a 15 minute walk to SSE Hydro, 15 minute commute into Glasgow's city center.
    The flat is a good space for up to four people. The hall has a dinning table for breakfast or evening meals, the living room has a smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, BBC I-Player, Amazon Prime etc. The living room is bright and comfortable, in the summer months the front garden is great for BBQ's and catching the sun all day (if your lucky enough to see it). The kitchen space is fully equipped, feel free to take the bike for a spin around the Clyde.
    My flats very close to a few nice new pubs, bars, restaurants , pizza places and cafes. (2mins walk away) Then further away (10mins walk walk) you’ll be in the heart of the west end with options of byres road and finniston.

    My flat is close to the heart of Glasgow's West End, and has fantastic transport links into the City Centre and out towards the airport. Museums, shops and restaurants & clubs are all close by. The flat itself is a comfortable, modern, bright flat. It is good for guests, incl families. 1 minute from Kelvinhall Subway station, minutes from a large Morrisons & Lidl supermarket and Partick railway station. No. 77 bus stop (to/from airport) just downstairs. Loch Lomond 30 minutes by car.
    The space You will have the whole place to yourself with full use of the two spacious double bedrooms, large shower room, and spacious kitchen living room. The kitchen has oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and essential cooking and eating utensils. Hall cupboard has washing machine, ironing board and iron. The two spacious bedrooms both have firm mattress beds with drawers and wardrobes. Both bedrooms also have wall mounted smart televisions. The bathroom has a modern, powerful shower. The Smart TV in the living room has Freeview channels BT Sports. There is BT internet in the flat. Codes will be supplied on arrival.
    The neighborhood Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and Riverside Transport Museum are within 10 minutes walk, as is the University of Glasgow (main Campus). Excellent restaurants, clubs & shops are in huge abundance. If you are interested in browsing charity shops, you won't be disappointed, likewise with cafes and estate agents! The leather corner sofa fitted is very comfortable to relax on whilst watching the wall mounted 42 inch smart TV. The kitchen features a modern 4-zone induction hob, built in oven, microwave oven and new 50/50 fridge freezer. A fitted washer dryer is also free to use, as well as a Nescafe Dulce Gusto coffee machine. Bedroom The large bedroom (same size as the living room and kitchen combined) features a built in wardrobe with ample space, king sized bed, and wide study stable with a bookshelf. Bathroom Modern built with electric shower and large mirror spanning the length of the wall. Shelving units have been installed on the right wall to allow storage of toiletries. There is plenty of space for bikes/bags etc in the hallway and everything you require in the kitchen. The table extends to sit up to 6. Amenities nearby include Sainsbury's local across the road, Number 16 restaurant (voted top on Trip advisor for several years), numerous cafes, takeaways and famous bars. It has quick access to the express way so taxis/trains/walking to the SECC/Hydro for gigs is cheap and quick.
    In terms of location you can't get better than Byres Rd. It's 5 minutes walk to the University, Ashton lane (bars/restaurants), Glasgow Transport Museum, Kelvin hall Velodrome, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens etc etc. There are is fantastic pay as you go gym (kelvinhall) 5 minutes walk away. The subway (around the corner) takes you into the centre in 15 minutes.

    This is a recently decorated property right in the heart of one of Glasgow's most vibrant and trendy areas, next to Finnieston, the heart of Glasgow‘s best restaurant and cafe culture. The flat has fantastic high ceilings and a beautiful fresh feel to it. All amenities are taken care of for you. There are a myriad of cafes, bars and restaurants all on your doorstep and lots of vintage shops close by. Ideal location to explore the rest of Glasgow with Subway and train station minutes away. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host.
    The whole flat was recently decorated so has a wonderfully fresh, airy feel to it. Huge 50” Smart TV, unlimited Virgin Wi-fi and all amenities that you could need are provided for you.
    Partick is one of the trendiest areas in Glasgow, offering many fantastic places to eat and drink. Finnieston is only a 5 minute walk which offers the best restaurants in Glasgow. Subway and train station to the city centre are within a couple of minutes walk as well.

    Beautiful light tenement flat 1 minute from the subway and by Byres Road, Kelvingrove, Glasgow University & Finnieston in the heart of the West End. The flat is stylishly renovated to a high specification and has a 50 MB wifi connection. You have an amazing choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Minimum booking 5 days & I'm leaving 4 days between bookings and will arrange a minimal contact check in.
    My lovely south facing first floor flat is airy, but cosy too and very comfortable, with a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom. The wifi is 50MB fibre, so you have a very fast connection and I've provided a computer printer. I can arrange temporary membership for you (by the week or month) at the Western Baths, which is about 10 minutes walk away. It's a Victorian baths, with a pool (with a trapeze!) modern gym, bar/restaurant, Turkish & Russian baths, saunas and various classes (yoga, pilates, aerobics etc) The kitchen is well equipped, with a gas hob, electric oven, grill microwave oven and extractor fan. I supply you with cooking oil, seasoning, coffee, tea, cereal & butter. There are also some things left by other guests, so there is usually rice, pasta etc in the cupboards. I also try and leave you with fresh flowers for your arrival. The bed is new and was made by a local company, with a lovely comfy mattress and is made up with freshly ironed white bed linen. It's a UK King size and US Queen. I also supply you with white towels. In the bedroom there is a wardrobe with shelves, dressing table/desk (with a mirror, but it also works as a desk space) and and a chest of drawers. There's a blackout blind to keep the light out on bright mornings. I've also provided bath robes and washable spa slippers to keep you nice and comfy. The flat is fully modernised, but I've aimed to keep the original character and the sitting room has the original boards which have been sanded. The stair area has the original tiles on the wall, and the inside flat door and the windows up the stair have stained glass. The flat has central heating and is nice and warm in winter. Although it's is on quite a busy road, the double glazing keeps the sound to a minimum and the bedroom is at the back and is very quiet as there is no road behind the building. You can borrow any of the books (there are quite a few) and there are also some maps of around the Glasgow area. The sitting room has a table which very comfortably seats 2 and you can watch the world go by from the window. There is also a washing machine, a drying rack and and an iron and ironing board. There is also a laundrette 10 minutes walk away if you want someone to do your washing for you :-) I've installed a smoke detector, heat detector, fire blanket, fire extinguisher and a laptop safe. You will be right next to the subway station, less than 10 minutes walk from the overground and on lots of bus routes. If you have a car, I can supply you with visitor parking permits for the streets nearby. I'm pretty flexible about check in, but I do run my own business so occasionally might have you ask you to work round me, or incoming/outgoing guests.
    Glasgow's West End is a brilliant area to stay and if you need to get to the city centre it's less than a 10 minute subway trip away. The flat just by the bottom of Byres Road and is less than 10 minutes walk from Kelvingrove Gallery and 20 minutes walk from the the Riverside Museum. The University and the Finnieston district are also close by. You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars and I can recommend my favourites. There are 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk as well as several delis and a great bakery.

There is one double bed, as well as both a bathroom and a separate shower room. There is a large shopping area/retail park about two minutes from the entrance, and a vast swathe of transport links to various parts of the city, including the heart of the West End, and the City Centre.
    The flat is close to the intersection of Dumbarton Road and Crow Road. Crow Road retail park, which has a couple of supermarkets, a coffee shop and a pharmacy, is a short walk from the entrance to the building. Dumbarton Road offers a slightly more colourful array of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, charity shops and vintage outlets. Also within walking distance - roughly ten minutes on foot - is the Riverside Museum, which has over 3,000 items relating to Glasgow's industrial past, as well as social developments through the ages. The SSE Hydro is a further 10 mins walk along the same side of he river. The Science Museum and IMAX Theatre are roughly twenty minutes away on foot, along the banks of the River Clyde, on the other side of the river from the Riverside Museum. A walk along Dumbarton Road, into the West End will bring you to the beautiful Kelvingrove Park, as well as the spires of Glasgow University

  • Takk for gjestfriheten, hadde ingen tv under oppholdet som fremdeles ikke kunne ordne seg da tv-antennen ikke fungerte, begrensede gafler og champagneglass og fryseren begynte å fryse over. Rommene er veldig romslige og utmerket beliggenhet, verten var lett å håndtere og ga oss til og med klær som ikke var der i utgangspunktet ville bli igjen uansett mindre problemer.

    The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard offering a bright and spacious bedroom, open plan kitchen and living are with sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower. It is free to park in the street(s) surrounding the property. The flat is only two minutes from a large variety of shops and bars and minutes to the closest bus stops and Partick underground and train station, provide direct access to the city centre in under 10 minutes and direct trains to Edinburgh. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host.
    The flat is situated on the first floor and provides a clean and comfortable space for relaxing. The bedroom is large and comfortable and the open plan kitchen and living area provides space for relaxing or enjoying a meal. There are two sofa beds in the living area that allow 3 further guests to stay. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is gas central heating to ensure the property is nice and warm.
    The flat is situated in Partick, a popular west end neighbourhood. There are a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. 6 Degrees North is 2 minutes away and serves good food and has a great selection of drinks. There is a retail park 2 minutes away that has a Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys and McDonalds.

If you’re here for a good time, the local area is brilliant; a five minute walk to Hyndland, two to the iconic Byres Road and ten minutes walk to super-trendy Finnieston. Whatever you’re in Glasgow for, you’ll get there in quick time because the transport links are amazing. The place is perfect for 2 people.
    The entrance to the building is on a quiet street, off bustling Dumbarton Road. It is above a pub and shops but double glazing and lots of soft furnishings keep street noise to a minimum, despite the superb central west end location. Access to the building is from an external flight of stairs to the first floor, with a secure entry at the top of the stairs. There is one bedroom, one bathroom, a hugely spacious kitchen diner with a breakfast bar and extendable dining table, a comfy living room with ample stylish seating for you to enjoy. This place is a lovely home from home. Julie-Anne var flott med kommunikasjon og vennlig la oss få tidlig innsjekking og sen utsjekking, noe som gjorde oppholdet enda bedre.   • Julie-Anne er et nydelig og rolig hjem borte fra hjemmet. (Jeg skulle ønske jeg hadde hatt mer tid til å bare slappe av der!) Hvis du vil bo i et livlig og praktisk område som ikke er midt i de mer turistrike delene av Glasgow, er dette et godt sted å være. Det er nær en Sainsbury er lokal for nødvendigheter og i nærheten av en rekke gode restauranter. Ligger over en pub på Dumbarton Road, er det lett å komme til mange steder du sannsynligvis vil gå. Det er over gaten fra t-banen (Kelvinhall), så det er ca 15 minutter til sentrale Glasgow. Det ligger en 20-minutters spasertur fra SEC og en 10-minutters spasertur fra det fantastiske Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Det handler om en 15-minutters spasertur til Hunterian Art Gallery og Museum. Julie-Anne hjem er så behagelig som det ser ut i hennes bilder. Det var flott å ha bruk av et skap for å henge opp alle mine arbeidsklær og å ha melk og godt brød til frokost. Takk igjen, Julie-Anne!

    The windows in my living room give an illusion of brightness and showcase amazing cityscape views while the en suite room offers cosy accommodation and is a perfect base from which to explore the eclectic West End. My flat’s location at Glasgow Harbour is close to the SEC Armadillo and Hydro and to Partick bus/underground and train stations: from where a quick commute brings one directly into St Enoch’s, Glasgow Central and Queen Street Stations:,the very hub of Glasgow’s busy city centre.
    The flat occupies the seventh floor, all the windows are front facing and overlook a busy motorway, which means traffic noise is constant though, there is double glazing and internal soundproofing means it is otherwise, a well insulated and very peaceful flat. The en suite bedroom offers basic, cosy accommodation though, the kitchen, living room and a separate bathroom, accessed from the hallway, are reserved for the owner.
    The immediate neighbourhood of Partick’s Glasgow Harbour is comparatively quiet and safe and the building has CCTV and a day time concierge; the building overlooks the River Clyde and the pedestrian walkways are conveniently located for cafes, restraurants and shops, Byres Road, the Dumbarton Rd corridor, Glasgow University, the Art Gallery, the Transport Museum and the Hydro/SEC. Outside the building there is limited free street parking on a first serve basis.

  • God beliggenhet. Rask forbindelse fra Glasgow sentralstasjon til Partik. Derfra fortsatt ca. 10 minutters gange til leiligheten.   • Yaqubs var min første AirBnB-opplevelse, og må si det, den var helt fantastisk! Hele leiligheten var nydelig, rommet var stille og med en veldig behagelig seng. Jeg ble ønsket velkommen av Yaqub selv om jeg kom sent og han var en fantastisk vert under mitt opphold!   • Will var en veldig god vert! SEC var i gangavstand fra Wills sted. Huset har god tilkobling gjennom busser. Togstasjonen ligger en 15 til 20 minutters spasertur fra huset. Det er mange restauranter og supermarkeder i nærheten av huset. Bare negative var sengen som ikke var så stor. Men samlet en veldig fin opplevelse og ville definitivt elske å gå til vil plassere igjen for neste Glasgow besøk!
