“WAT GUAN YU Mr. Virach Pongchababnapa, a Sino-Thai resident of Koh Samui, had the crazy project of building a bronze statue 16 meters high, worth 20 million Baht, which is becoming one of the big new Tourist attractions of Koh Samui. The statue represents Guan Yu, a Chinese warlord living in the second century. The completed project will include a building to house a local "Chinatown" with restaurants, shops, and Chinese medicine practitioners. The sanctuary is also used for weddings. ”

“Jean Luc (owner./chef) is a talent. The fella gets food like on a Frenchman can, bit like Brazilians and football. This place delivers special food ina super relaxed environment this is after all Samui. Jean Luc does go to extraordinary/ slightly unhinged lengths to get the produce he wants, especially shell fish/ game birds. Nothing on this menu will be anything other than spectacularly great , from the gin selection before you eat, to this magnificent Calvados/ ice cream/ apple desert that is just humbling Bloody brilliant, Davies guareentee'd ”

“On the road to Lamai, about 4 km from the villa, signs on right side. Follow road down to the beach and you will find it there. Nice clean beach, use of pool, towels provided and a cafe for something to eat. All welcome and its a fun place for the children.”
