“Ness Islands are a small group of islands in the middle of the River Ness connected by Victorian Footbridges. They are perfect for an evening sroll or afternooon walk and are only a short walk from the city centre. Paths are suitable for all abilities. The walk takes about 1 hour and is approx 3 miles but can be shortened. It is an ideal loop for a leisurely 5k. It takes you past Whin Park, Inverness Ice Centre & Botanic Gardens and Inverness Cathedral. Enjoy a whole day out without using the car.”
