“Bara Menyn Bakehouse & Café an artisan bakehouse and cafe under one roof – in one of Cardigan’s historic Custom House buildings. We bake slow-fermentation, organic sourdough 6 days a week (Mon-Sat, 9:30 – 4pm), as well as serving up a range of locally sourced breakfasts and lunches, home-made cakes and speciality coffee (as well as our famous sourdough pittas and croissants, of course). We also have a licensed bar, outdoor patio/garden area, and welcome those with both dogs (who can sit outside or in our little annex, the ‘Cwtch’), and children (who can sit anywhere). We pride ourselves on our vegetarian and vegan offerings. 45 St Mary Street, Cardigan, SA43 1HA. T: 01239 615310”

“Pizzatipi make Stonebake handmade pizzas, breads, delicious appetisers & sweets. There is a licensed bar that sells locally produced Welsh craft beers, ciders & wine in an open courtyard alongside the River Teifi Estuary. Large bell tents and fire pits make this rustic hideaway a fantastic venue with a difference. Run by 4 brothers and their band of merry friends. During the summer evenings long waiting times can be experienced. Please arrive as early as possible for quicker service or take a drink and enjoy the views. “Cardigan is a good day out, the town features a mix of high street brands and independent shops to browse or stock up on essentials or a beach picnic. Lunch is recommended at the Pizza Tipi come rain or shine, with its wood fired ovens, selection of local brewed beers and undercover firepit area. Dogs are welcome too. Followed on by an afternoon at one of the many local beaches which hardly ever get crowded.”

Park
“This is part of a lovely walk that takes in the Teifi river, the gorge, wetlands and woods. This section is between the old bridge and the gorge where the old quarries were. It's flat, there's an off shoot of a circular path where you can stop off in bird hides and see all sorts - including buffalo from Easter to September. There's a very good cafe with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. You can hire canoes from here too.”
