I’ve been a Superhost for years. 2 reviews destroyed the status-since I do long term stays the law of averages works against me. Long term welcome, very friendly pets present. A cozy bed, private room and a hot shower at a reasonable rate for a night or more. There is a relaxed and courteous atmosphere here. Shared bath, kitchen, dining room, living room and entryway.

This is a compact but comfortable room with a single bed, dresser, a chair and table/workspace, 2 lamps, 2 outlets and bookshelf. Linens, towels and many other amenities are inclusive. The room has a fan for your comfort. One window is sealed and one can be opened. Pets allowed in rooms by invitation only. The room is approximately 5' x 10' and sufficient for most people for short term stays and some minimalists for longer. Guests report they sleep well and you are welcome to use the larger common areas at your discretion.

This house is in a historic neighborhood. There is a lot of foot and some auto traffic and occasional sirens. The house is walking distance to the downtown (0.8 mi) and public library, grocery, restaurants and other services. It's half block to the bus line and close to bike trails. Parking across the street.

The exterior of the house is a 3 story green building with white trim on an alley. There is a lot of foot traffic and it's a diverse neighborhood. While there is considerable activity during the day by 11:00 pm it is usually quiet.

I require a fully completed profile, your face on the photo, government issued ID and verified phone and email to reserve. I have -0- zero tolerance for drama or attitudes of entitlement.

If you are reserving a room and you are not the guest-you must notify me via messages. You will then register 2 people in the room even if you won't be there and send a copy of the occupants government issued ID.

I am a social introvert with many interests. I work from home so I am available most of the time weekdays. My weekends tend to be loosely scheduled but I try to keep Saturday mornings and evenings open for last minute activity and to do my household labors.

I covet mature, friendly travelers and enjoy entertaining, cooking and deep meaningful discussions. No topic is off limits and I speak confidently while respecting opposing viewpoints.

I have a very exuberant, playful, well socialized terrier and a retired Pit Bull co-hosts and several friendly cats in residence. If you need a smile, he's your guy! If you like animals - welcome to your home away from home. I keep a tidy place but it is not "Hotel Meticulous" clean.

I am all that-housekeeper, cook, concierge, laundress, repairman and grounds maintenance. If there is something out of order-please let me know.

We share the house with up to 8 people and I expect everyone to leave a room as clean or better than they found it. If you see something that isn't up to your standard of cleanliness-by all means grab some cleaning products and take care of it. I keep the house in a manner that keeps it very affordable to many travelers. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
