We can't wait to host you in our lovely new home in Bradwell. You will have a large and comfortable ensuite room with king size bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and of course use of our lounge and kitchen/dining room if you wish. We are opposite a green space with playpark, and behind us are views of the hills.
Kids are welcome and can be accommodated in the room on mattresses. They can use our toys too.
We also welcome pets. You need to declare them in your booking.

Stedet
We have just moved into this 1960s/70s house on the main road in Bradwell. We have a porch and hallway for shoes and coats, a little cosy lounge and a lovely large kitchen and dining room with big windows all along the garden side of the room. There is a utility room and garage for muddy stuff or if you have climbing or camping equipment for example. Or of course bikes!
Off the utility there is a lovely bathroom with walk-in shower which you are welcome to use if 2 guests both want showers at the same time or if you are downstairs and need the loo.
Upstairs there is your room with its own bathroom on one side of the house, then a further 2 bedrooms and family bathroom. Finally there is a little office/study from which you can head up to the attic room.
It is very much our family home so please don't expect a show-home. We have our pictures and photos around; the hallway might have stray shoes or a bag that our kids have carelessly dropped; you might hear us calling out to each other up the stairs or laughing in the kitchen... ! You are welcome to be part of the family if you want to be but we have made sure your room is neutral and tranquil and very much a guest room separate and different from the rest of the house. We respect people wanting to just be private and switch off.

We've just moved to this village so we are still getting to know the place. So far we have discovered the Bradwell ice cream cafe next to the central park; the gorgeous lanes and alleys that wind and climb uphill with beautiful views and an eclectic mix of charming cottages; the very useful large Co-Op supermarket and delicious fish and chips from Bradwell chippie.
There are 3 pubs in the village. The Shoulder of Mutton which is the newest pub. It has a pool table, good food and very friendly landlady who is a real community person who goes above and beyond to help her customers. At the back is a little beer garden - hop over the wall and you are in the main park and play area so it's handy if you have kids with you! The White Hart is open Weds-Sunday evenings, doesn't serve food but does have a great pub quiz on a Wednesday night. This pub has an amazing atmosphere. It feels like an ancient cottage with wonky floors, old stone fireplace and low ceilings. Lastly, the Bowling Green Inn is very picturesque with a huge beer garden with kids' play equipment, fire/bbq huts, and a warren of rooms inside. Lots of character, and also has a good reputation for the food.
Ask us about local walks - we now know a few nice routes but we're still learning!

Hello travellers!

We are a family of 4 living in the stunning Peak District. We are renting our spare room on Airbnb as well as the occasional rental of the whole house (4 bedrooms) when we go away.

If you're staying in our spare room you will meet us all as we will often be around. Our kids are aged 9 and 11 and are pretty chilled out and happy to interact with any kids (or adults) who want to play or chat. They are used to having visitors and meeting new people.

I am outgoing and friendly, like to be helpful and share information, love to chat but understand when people just want to retreat to their own space as I also get times like that. James, my partner, is more reserved than me, but equally friendly.
