*** COVID-19 Cleaning Protocols ***
As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. Our cleaning fees are generally higher than the market average because we pay above the living wage standards and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. This has always included disinfecting all “wet” surfaces (sinks, showers, toilets), replacing all linens and towels, and cleaning all dishes. We now require our cleaning staff to wear gloves in these areas for their protection. In addition, we block our properties for a full day between guests to allow the time for them to air out prior to our cleaners entering. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

Stedet
This lovingly restored one-bedroom, one-bath homestead cabin was built in the early 1950s by Italian-American artist Pasquale Napolitano. He called it Frontierville. It is set in dramatic Gamma Gulch on the western edge of Pipes Canyon, just north of Pioneertown, where “the mountains meet the sky” according to the old cowboy classic, “Out in Pioneertown.”

“Where do I start? I’ve stayed at many places all over the world for many years and this is top 3 as far as the property goes. It’s like your own private national park.” -Recent Review

-BEDS & BATHS-
The Cozy Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to two guests in its bedroom, which includes a queen-size bed and rustic, desert-inspired decor.

The one bathroom has modern fixtures, including a combination shower/tub, so you can leave the “roughing it” for your outdoor adventures.

-KITCHEN & DINING-
The desert inspires us all in different ways, and if you want to explore your culinary skills, the Cozy Cabin’s kitchen awaits. It’s cozy, but functional, with a gas stove, oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, and full-size fridge and freezer. Dishes and cookware can be found on the shelves.

When it’s time to eat, there’s a high-top table with two stools, but we also recommend dining outside on the porch.

-LIVING SPACE-
Whether you’ve come for a midweek rock show at Pappy’s, a romantic weekend escape, or a much-needed week alone to work on your screenplay, you’ll probably find yourself kicking back on the couch in the living room at least once.

“This is a magical place and this little cabin is a perfect dwelling to experience the area. We only had three nights and wound up wishing for many more.” -Recent Review

-OUTDOOR SPACE-
Step out on the patio for spectacular desert views. Bring hiking boots, a hat, and binoculars, and you’ll likely spot a red tail hawk or a quail family poking around, cottontails and jack rabbits, and maybe a bobcat if you’re lucky.

Or just brew up a cup of coffee, relax on the porch and enjoy the unobstructed panoramic view, the brilliant sunrise, the golden silence, and more stars than you can possibly imagine.

-ESSENTIALS-
Parking is available for one vehicle. The Cozy Cabin has

Because of the higher elevation, temperatures are generally cooler than in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley — with the occasional winter snowfall.
