About Ventusbay
Each of our four unique bungalows was elaborated by local craftsmen to reflect local customs and traditions and are equipped with all the basic elements needed to ensure a relaxing stay. A 340 sq ft open space concept shared between a large room and bathroom and a small terrace with a sitting area, ideal for an evening read or observing the sky at night full of stars while listening to the sounds of nature.
We have 2 bungalows with King size beds and 2 with 2 Queen size each. The bedrooms are equipped with a small wardrobe with drawers and a small desk, and are decorated with Huichol and Otomi artistic details. You will also find purified drinking water during your stay at the Palapa and filter coffee is available in the mornings.
Each Bungalow is equipped with superior linens and towels (including beach towels upon request)
Our standard is to change your bed linen and towels every third day of your stay and again at check-out.

Are you a water sports fanatic? La Ventana is ranked amongst the top 10 Kitesurfing destinations in the world and our hotel is located in Playa Sur, the perfect location to launch your kite or finish a Downwind from Hot Springs that is guaranteed to take your breath away. Wind is strong during the months of December to April so make sure you pack warm clothing and windbreakers to shield you from the sand during the day and cold at night.
Our comfortable bungalows were built high above ground level to maximize visibility of the beautiful surroundings and because of the lack of light pollution, it's the perfect spot to gaze at the stars at night and create a moment of peace and tranquility for personal reflection.
Ventusbay offers the perfect getaway for couples, young families and adventure seekers and is only a one-hour drive (30 miles) away from the capital of Baja California Sur, La Paz. Once there, Ventusay is just under 1.3 miles from the nearest village called La Ventana and its extension, El Sargento, where you can find restaurants, bars, convenience stores, flea market (thursdays) and numerous recreational activities such as Biking, Trail Running, Kitesurfing, Kiteboarding, Paddleboard and Snorkeling among others. There is also an OXXO and a petrol station in Town and it is recommended that you rent a car at La Paz International Airport to move around town.
If your thigh is mountain biking instead, well La Ventana is your place. There are miles of trails that have been built over the years with fast and more technical trails in the north side of town in El Sargento, to smother ones in the South. Ventusbay is a short ride away from the start of the trails in the South.
While staying at Ventusbay, you can also enjoy breathtaking sunrises during an early morning walk on the beach or sunsets that will make you wish your stay could prolong forever. The beach front area at Ventus bay is 21,500 sq ft equipped with lounge beds and king size mattresses and cushions from where you can observe a magnificent uninterrupted view of the UNESCO protected island ‘Isla Cerralvo’.
Our maintenance staff will be available to assist you during day and working hours (8:00 am to 15:00 pm) and Arturo, our nightwatch in case of any emergency from 18;00 pm to 07:00 am)
