Once you enter the front door, you will see the living room ahead with vaulted log cabin floor to ceiling windows and a panoramic view of Lucy Lake. The living room includes a gas burning fireplace and a large TV with DirecTV. Located to your right is the master bedroom with a king size bed and access to the large deck overlooking the lake. The master bath includes in-floor heat, a large walk-in closet, 2 sinks, shower, and a washer & dryer. Above the living room is the loft bedroom which includes a queen size bed and its own full bath & walk-in closet.
The open floor concept connects the living room directly to the dining area. The large Crate & Barrel table is great for large gatherings and can easily fit 10 people and even has room for 12 people with the provided benches. Next to dining area is the large, fully stocked kitchen including blender, toaster oven, and Instant Pot. The sun room next to the dining area has large east and south facing windows, and with its scenic view of the lake & forest, is a great place to have a fresh cup of coffee in the morning brewed via the new Cuisinart coffee maker.
With the high-speed internet (49 Mbps download & 4.9 Mbps upload), the office connected directly to the kitchen is the perfect place for those who may need to catch up on school or work remotely. The spacious mudroom with the powder room is just off the kitchen and is connected to the garage. Dog lovers will enjoy the dog run/kennel area attached to the garage which contains 3 separate kennels with access to individual outdoor runs for each dog!
The lower level boasts lake views in both bedrooms, kitchen, dining & family room. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, the second bedroom has one queen bed. The lower level is a great place to hang out to play board games on the dining room table or watch a movie/sports game on the large smart TV. The gas burning stove will keep you toasty on winter days. The lower level also includes one full bath with in-floor heat and a large rec room with a ping pong table.
Outside the lower level is a beautiful patio ideal for grilling on the provided Weber charcoal grill and the fire pit by the lake is the perfect spot to roast marshmallows. The permanent dock has a west facing bench and is the prime location to watch the sunset over Lucy Lake. For the water lovers, the dock also provides access to the small pontoon boat w/ an electric motor (which is free for guests to use) and is a short walk to the boat house which includes life vests, fishing rods, and a boat stand which holds the canoe and kayak (also free for guests to use). In winter the boat house will be locked.
For babies/toddlers there’s a Stokke high chair, 1 pack ‘n play with a mattress, sheets & blankes, and 2 baby/pet gates.
We offer DirectTV on all 4 TV‘s, satellite internet and an Amazon Echo.
In summer there are beach towels available.
