Soak up the modern vintage charm of our fully remodeled and updated home! Thank you for choosing our sparkling clean space. Our home is nestled on two quiet acres just north of Plymouth in the peaceful country. Enjoy coffee as the sun rises from one of the two decks, or perhaps a cocktail by the fire as the sun sets. We ourselves lived in this home for our first 5 years and turned it into a beautiful and peaceful space for ourselves that we would now like to share with everyone.

Our names are Joe and Alyssa and our little sidekick(son) is Wyatt, the newest addition to the "Maple Grove Vacation Home" clan! In 1903 our home was actually a cheese factory, formally known as Maple Grove Cheese Factory, which, as you guessed, founded the name for our family owned business. We initially began in 2015 as a young couple excited about purchasing our first home, which is now the “home” of our rental properties. We first decided to host on AirBnb after a few friends had suggested we turn the guest house on our property into a vacation rental due to our close proximity to tourist attractions including Road America, Elkhart Lake, Lambeau Field, and the EAA. We were intrigued by the idea and were up for the challenge, so we spent our first winter and spring remodeling prior to our summer opening. We spent many late evenings and early mornings before and after work to complete the vision. We've met many amazing people through our first year hosting and enjoyed the process so much, we opted to remodel and utilize our two-family home for a vacation rental when our month-to-month tenant decided to move. With the help of family, we were able to remodel and open our second vacation home in just over a month! Now, 5 years later, we have moved to a place of our own that is able to accommodate our growing family. Our “first home” has been updated and has become the last AirBnB unit to operate on the property. It has come to be known as “Wyatt’s Place” as it was the first place he was able to call home!

Aside from operating Maple Grove Vacation Homes, we also work outside of the home. Alyssa has her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and practices as a Pediatric PA with children from birth to 18 years. Joe has his Master’s in Business Administration and works in sales in the surrounding area. We enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible and can often be found at the lake kayaking with our puppies, downhill skiing, hiking through the Kettle Moraine State Forest, or relaxing by the firepit!

We have put a lot of time, energy and love into our properties and will always hold the vacation rentals near and dear to our heart! Regardless of which unit you book, you will find a unique and tastefully decorated space completely to yourselves. We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to host for you and are available to help answer any questions along the way. We aim to provide you a comforting home away from home and strive make your travel experience that much more enjoyable!
