Chateau LeVeaux is a legacy resort, ideally located on a cliff on the shore of Lake Superior. Spectacular views of Lake Superior can be found across the resort grounds. Benches, Adirondack chairs, and lawn chairs offer you the chance to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. The resort grounds offer FANTASTIC sunrise views.

In the condo, curl up in the recliner while you relax by the fire. Wake up early and soak in a stunning sunrise on blue water stretching into the horizon. Set up your workspace at the table overlooking Lake Superior. On cooler evenings, enjoy the heated tile bathroom floor, and radiant in-floor heating in our updated condo on the shore.

Our condo features a drip coffee maker, a coffee bean grinder, a Keurig® coffee brewer, and a brand-new French Press to help you ease into your morning. We have also added a Keurig® My K-Cup® Universal Reusable Filter, which allows you to brew a single cup of your favorite ground coffee on demand using our Keurig® coffee maker.

Cookware, dishware, glassware, and kitchen utensils are all here for your use. A full-size refrigerator with a freezer, stovetop, oven, Crockpot, electric skillet, toaster, and microwave offers you a wide range of meal preparation options. The kitchen table offers seating for four.

Unit 6 features a flat-screen television with DISH Satellite, including 270+ channels, as well as a VCR and DVD player. The resort offers complimentary use of its expansive collection of VHS tapes and DVDs, along with puzzles and games. We have a Chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick for your use to stream entertainment.

Chateau LeVeaux features an enormous lobby with a fireplace, tables, curved large-screen TV, and couches. It also offers a game room with a pool table and a ping-pong table. The resort also features an indoor pool and hot tub for year-round enjoyment.

Relax on our condo's private patio as you see the night sky like never before and listen to the waves crash on the shoreline below.

Freshly-laundered towels and linens are also included. In addition, the resort offers a washer and dryer for your complimentary use during your stay.

Chateau LeVeaux Unit 6 is the ultimate place to serve as your home base for your North Shore adventures.

The condo is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in between guest stays according to the best-practice recommendations from the State of Minnesota.

We have added many new items to improve your stay, including a new boot and glove dryer, new pots and pans, and new cooking utensils. In addition, we have added six brand-new pillows (three fill levels), bringing your total options up to six choices of fill levels to help you get a great night of sleep. Whether you want a good nap or a deep night's sleep, we have added a weighted blanket too.

We have also upgraded new towels throughout the condo, added a brand-new electric skillet for expanded breakfast and cooking options, and new blankets for cozy nights on the couch and recliner. We added a brand-new toaster, and new cooking supplies, including expanded cooking spices, for whatever dish you want to whip up on your vacation. Finally, for the game room, we added brand-new ping pong paddles and balls and foosballs for your use during your stay.

Tofte is an amazing resort community. It is located less than ten minutes south of Lutsen mountains, which offers hiking, an alpine slide, a winery, and some of Minnesota's best mountain biking in the spring, summer, and fall. Winter offers you access to the largest ski resort in the upper Midwest (ski season is November to weekends in early May). Lutsen also features a Vineyard and Winery.

Tofte is just 30 minutes south of Grand Marais, a city offering numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. One of the recent additions to Grand Marais is Voyageur Brewing Company, where you can enjoy locally-made craft beer and delicious appetizers on the brewery's pet-friendly deck and a rooftop patio overlooking Lake Superior. Another local favorite is World Best Donuts, offering delicious donuts, Skizzles, and the new Donut Kabobs!

Golfing: The Chateau LeVeaux resort is located just six minutes away from the Superior National Golf Course, a 27-hole golf course with breathtaking views of Lake Superior and a waterfall in play. In addition to these golfing options, Superior National now offers Footgolf allowing fun for the whole family.

Winter Activities: Our resort is located in Cook County, Minnesota, which averages 120 inches of snow per year. You can enjoy more than 400 km of groomed cross-country ski trails (the largest network in North America), 450 miles of snowmobile trails, and 1,000 acres of downhill skiing and snowboarding. Winter also offers ice fishing, sled-dog adventures, frozen waterfalls, and the chance to see the Northern Lights!

Stargazing: Cook County offers some of the best views of the night sky of any on Lake Superior, offering you views of the stars like you have never seen before.

My first trip to the Minnesota North Shore was when I was just a few months old and I have been back at least once every year of my life. It is one of my favorite places in the whole world. The sounds of the waves of Lake Superior breaking on the shore rhythmically calm my soul.

In 2009, my wife and I decided to embark on the adventure of a lifetime and we thru-hiked the Superior Hiking Trail, from Two Harbors to the Canadian border, in 11 days. This experience deepened our love for the Minnesota North Shore and Lake Superior.

It is a dream come true to have a place on the Lake and we are excited to share it with you. Whether you are seeking adventure or relaxation, at the end of the day, you have the chance to fall asleep to the sounds of Lake Superior's waves crashing on the shore line.
