A private large room in a modest 1950s renovated house. With own separate private entrance, couch, en suite bathroom, Smart TV, and rainwater - chlorine-free - spa on the outside deck looking over the back garden. Perfect for couples wanting to enjoy all that Martinborough offers during the day, and all this room offers overnight. No cooking facilities at all, but does have jug and toaster, plates, cutlery and mini-fridge. Verified guests with photo profile and history only.

Martinborough is a wine village, with over 14 boutique vineyards within a close 10km circuit, many of them are within 3km of this property, walking or cycling is the best option to get around, the roads are flat. If you are looking for a hill to climb you can get walking trails info from the Information Centre on the corner of the Square and Oxford Street, in the Library building, only 500m walk. Cape Palliser and Ngawi are about 1.5hour drive from here, Lake Ferry is 42km - all are well worthwhile driving out to. The Ferry has a fantastic pub, Ngawi is a quirky fishing port with bulldozers - Cape Palliser is a lighthouse with fantastic views, you can drive to the base of it. New Zealand seals to be seen here as well.

All the restaurants and pubs have great food here, highly recommend any of them, we even have a cinema and restaurant. Bookings recommended for all in summer.

(18km) Further afield we have Featherston at the base of the Remutaka Hills - Fell Locomotive Museum and quirky shopping to be had. (18Km) Greytown is the boutique shopping mecca, lots of food options here as well. Masterton is our biggest local town, 42km north of here. Go the back road and visit New Zealand's Stonehenge.

Under oppholdet ditt

During the week there is office staff that work out of the garage office and main house. We do not live on the property personally but family are in the main 2-bedroom house area. The back deck off this bedroom is private for your use only, this has the spa on it.
Guests in this room drive up the driveway and park outside the garage office, the entrance to their private room is the second entrance door, behind the porch entrance to the main house, see photos. There is room for two cars as long as you pull right up. Open that door, there is a locked door to the right you will not have access to that area - they do not have access to your area. Bedroom door straight ahead.
