Nærområdet

Thành phố Hà Giang, Hà Giang, Vietnam

Nearby, there are plenty of small farms and friendly villages. Tay and Yao tribes pepper the surrounding areas of Ha Giang. If you offer them a smile, they might invite you into their house for tea... or beer!

Hi, my name is Cu Ly, I am currently co-hosting Dat at Hmong Moonshine House. I was born and raised in Ha Giang. My family has a traditional craft of making rice wine in Ha Giang, through many generations. From a young age, I watched my grandfather teach my father how to make traditional Ha Giang wine. In my generation, my father taught me how to make this wine using an ancient method. The special thing about traditional yeasts is that they are made of a number of leaves, bark, roots and stems in the old forest, some plants have natural microorganisms available to create molds - yeast. And do not need any other chemicals. I love my family's media career. And now when I'm at Hmong Moonshine House, I look forward to meeting and sharing with anyone who is looking for an experience or wine tasting and learning how to make our wine. See you soon
