Built in 1868, Blacksmith’s Cottage combines the charm of a simple stone cottage with the ease of modern comforts. The polished hardwood floors, slate flagstones, solid timber ceilings and antique claw foot bath create a historical feel, while the wood fire, ducted heating and cooling, and modern appliances ensure your stay will be comfortable.

Stedet
Spend your time relaxing in the sunshine on the verandah, curled up by the woodfire, or pottering around the gorgeous cottage gardens. Alternatively, use Blacksmith’s Cottage as a base to easily explore all that the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer: spectacular scenery and beaches; decadent food and wine; unique galleries and markets, as well as excellent bushwalking, fishing and diving adventures.

Set in a quiet cul de sac only a few minutes’ drive from one of South Australia’s best beaches, this location ensures privacy and tranquillity even at the height of the tourist season.

At Blacksmith’s Cottage, bedlinens and towels are provided, along with tea, coffee, milk and a few basic pantry items. Bring your own food to prepare in the well-equipped kitchen; dine out in nearby Yankalilla or Normanville; or try the magnificent offerings at the award-winning Leonards Mill restaurant just across the road.

Please note: due to a steep-sided unfenced creek running through the grounds, we do not recommend this property for children or pets.
