The old farmhouse is located on a active sheepfarm 120 km from Tromsø Airport. The house interior is vintage and makes a cozy stay, with balcony and access to a outside fireplace. The sheep wanders around in the fields, and in wintertime the big moose happens to visit farm.

The artic Universtity Norternlight Observatory is located in Skibotn because of the conditions with clear sky, dry air and good weather, so if there is nortern light in the air you will see it here!

There is plenty of nature to enjoy in Skibotn. Hiking, mountain bike, and skiing Top-tours, I would recommend a safe track to the mountain of ADJEKA ( 1462 m) with fantastic down-hill possibilities. There is plenty of hiking trails in the area, and every one of them are well marketed so you'll find the way. The most giving hike is a 2km walk where you will find a big waterfall named Hengen.

You can also drive only 40 km from SKIBOTN and visit FINLAND-KILPISJÆRVI , a total different tundra landscape.g
