The west wing of our home is all yours - private entrance, deck, bathroom and lounge area. The two rooms have sliding doors between them: either one large space or sleeping for up to four people.

Mahurangi West is Auckland's best kept secret. Just 45 minutes from Auckland, Mahurangi West is situated on the edge of the Mahurangi harbour and the Matakana coast. Walk the loop and visit six different beaches within an hour. Being on a harbour, the area is ideal for swimming, kayaking and boating. The Matakana coast offers fabulous scenery, wineries, farmers' markets, shopping, cafes and fine dining.

Your Mahurangi West Wing Hosts We look forward to having you stay in our home. David and I have been living in Mahurangi West for the past 15 years. We moved here after falling in love with the area and then built our split level home on a 3 hectare block. We feel very privileged to live at Mahurangi West and particularly enjoy the walking, swimming, views and incredible night skies you can see out here. We share our home with 2 alpacas, a very spoilt cat and 5 chickens. We both work from their home and David has a plumbing and gas-fitting business; specialising in gas and solar installation. We both enjoy travelling and understand the need for a wee bit of comfort and peace and quiet from time to time. Your "wing" of our home is quite separate from the main living are of the house which you are more than welcome to view as "yours" during your stay with us. See you soon!
