# Close enough to Sydney if you want a cheaper option and a 45 minute drive to Katoomba. Great base to plan your next adventure.
# The Blue Mountains is host to some of the most incredible walks and places to explore. Why not visit Blackheath or Jenolan Caves whilst you are here. Or if you prefer, take in a local walk after visiting one of our many cafes in Springwood.

There has been massive transformation at the Urban Farmer Blue Mountains and after a short hiatus things are starting to ramp up and are shaping up nicely. The house has seen some lovely renovations and the outdoor areas are music to my soul.

The enclosed garden space for organic produce is almost done and the citrus espelier trellis is complete.

The pond performance space and amphitheatre has been carved out. The communal space and fire pit are waiting for the brickie and concretor.

There are grassy areas to pitch a tent, enjoy a picnic lunch or catch up on your creative writing under the shade of the fruit trees.

What’s this all about you might ask.. I AM Co-Creating a Creative Space for Community to Connect.

The Urban Farmer Blue Mountains will be home to Permaculture, Performances, Workshops, Food Forest, Edible Garden Trail (October 2022) and Gatherings of all descriptions. It’s primary purpose is to teach permaculture principles.

I would love to share this labour of love with you, so please feel free to stay and enJoY what we have to offer.

Don’t be shy in offering me a creative suggestion to incorporate into the design.

Please note the chickens are free range.
