Enjoy sweeping views over Wentworth Falls golf course from your balcony. Escape from the city, explore the mountains and return after a busy day to snuggle up in front of the toasty gas log fire.

Almora Loft is located in the heart of the world heritage listed Blue Mountains. The village of Wentworth Falls is just two or three minutes away by car and it is a ten minute drive to Leura or Katoomba, where you will find everything the Mountains have to offer.

The loft is beautifully furnished with French fabrics, prints and bedding.

The upper level runs the full length of a double garage. There is a queen bed at one end, a comfortable lounge area with Foxtel TV, Netflix, and gas fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, modern bathroom and single bed at the other end. Glazed doors lead to the balcony, where you can relax on the deck overlooking the garden and golf course.

On the lower level there is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, gas heater and table setting for three guests.

A staircase links the two levels. This is not particularly wide and is not suitable for travellers with large suitcases.

We leave some supplies to make settling in easier: tea, coffee pods, milk, sugar, salt and pepper and a small supply of cereal.
We also leave shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The loft is completely self contained and has its own entrance, which ensures your privacy. You are welcome to relax on one of the garden seats overlooking the main garden and golf course.

Located in a peaceful area of Wentworth Falls and just a few minutes drive to the local village. A drive of ten minutes takes you to Leura and Katoomba. Upon returning home you can relax on your balcony overlooking four fairways of Wentworth Falls Country Club .

Almora Loft is set within the Blue Mountains National Park and is the perfect place to base yourself for your holiday.

Hi, I'm Jenny and my husband Peter and I welcome you to Almora Loft.

My background includes working for a newspaper in Auckland and for an airline in Sydney. Peter has worked on major construction projects in the Northern Territory, Fiji and Sydney. In later years he has been involved in residential building and also likes to turn his hand to building furniture.

We moved from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the Blue Mountains in 2000 and love living here. During much of that time we ran a B&B, "Naini Tal", named after a beautiful Indian hill station in the foothills of the Himalayas where Peter was born. Many people associated with that town have reached out to make contact and share stories : it has been a very special connection.

Almora is a town not far from Naini Tal and we felt that was a good name for our house and loft.

We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and from all corners of the world. Some of our favourite destinations include France, Turkey and Thailand, and during our travels we have gathered some beautiful fabrics, prints and bedding from those places. And of course we have met some wonderful people along the way. We hope that bringing these things together will help us to create a welcoming, comfortable and peaceful space where our guests can relax and use our loft as a base to explore the local area. We look forward to welcoming you to Almora Loft.
