The Noekolo Room, located upstairs at the Kilauea Lodge in the Hale Maluna building, features a queen bed, private bath, heated towel warmer, bathrobes, gas fireplace, and central heat. Built in 1937 as part of the YMCA Lodge, the two story Hale Maluna building has four guest rooms. Can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Aloha, my name is Janet and I've been fortunate to call the big island home for decades. I moved from Maui and fell in love with this island. My husband and I couldn't have picked a better place to raise our children. The big island is so diverse from incredible white, black and green sand beaches to rain forests to snowy mountain tops in the winter. We love the outdoors and every chance we get, we are out exploring the beauty of this island. We enjoy scuba diving, hiking, backpacking, on just relaxing at home in cool Volcano listing to the native birds sing in the ohia trees. This is nature at it's finest. I look forward to welcoming you to Kilauea Lodge and helping you plan a wonderful stay on this amazing island. E komo mai, welcome.
