Just 27 miles from Sugarloaf, the Bigelow Preserve, and the Maine Huts & Trails: enjoy a farmstay at the Runamuk Acres Conservation Farm! This is a 1st floor bedroom, separate from the main house but still close to the bathroom. Shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry and wi-fi. Our farmstaybnb offers a farm-fresh breakfast made with real and local foods, and free homemade snacks! Fill your bellies, meet our friendly critters, and experience farm-life first hand before your next outdoor adventure.

Stedet
Runamuk Acres is a certified bee-friendly conservation farm with a mission to protect wildlife through the conservation of beneficial insects like pollinators, and microbial soil-life. Using methods of regenerative agriculture, we produce raw honey, beeswax products, organic eggs, vegetables, seedlings, and sheep for meat and wool. We invite you to experience farm-life up close and personal with a stay in one of the guest rooms in our farmhouse built in 1901!

We strive to treat our guests like friends and family when they are here─and nothing makes you feel more at home than good food. Let Runamuk feed you up with super-nutritious food we've either grown ourselves, or sourced from other local farmers. We offer fantabulous homemade breakfasts and love to share snacks and treats made in our own kitchen from real and fresh ingredients.

Local restaurant-options are slim between Sunday and Tuesday evenings. Runamuk offers guests nourishing crock-pot dinners in exchange for a donation to our farm. Just ask!

Gjestetilgang
Campfire pit, swing set, screened bug house, walking trails, snowshoeing, direct access to ITS 84.

Andre ting det er verdt å merke seg
Guests should please be aware that this is a *working farm*─NOT a hobby farm or gentleman's farm. While AirBnB supplements our income, we pay our bills through the production of vegetables, eggs, honeybees, and baked goods from our licensed kitchen. We attend farmers' markets and serve our local community with a farm-delivery program. Guest rooms are kept immaculately clean, and while we make every effort to ensure common spaces are tidy and presentable for paying guests, sometimes the farm must take priority and guests may arrive on a day when life on the farm is a little chaotic or messy. Find Runamuk Acres online to learn more about our farm!

Guests are invited (but not required) to shadow our farmer, pet our super-friendly, woolly sheep, and even get hands-on if they are so inclined. Learn more about farming, homesteading, beekeeping with our farm steward!

Steward of agricultural conservation lands. Farmer, beekeeper, and blogger. I write about agriculture, and share my journey as a female farmer on Runamuk's website. You can also find @RunamukAcres on (Hidden by Airbnb) for a glimpse at daily life on this Maine farm! I like taking care of people. I especially like feeding people good, nutritious food that I have grown. I love showing off my farm, and helping folks connect with nature. I like weird people like me, science-fiction & fantasy. I also play the banjo!
