Stedet
Our modern lakefront house is ready for your holidays or weekends away. Perfect for couples (this Studio) and/or for a small group of 4 (Pavilion - see other listing). The house is divided into these 2 separate areas and they can be rented out separately or together.
The house is set high between the tree tops giving you a feel of serenity, quiet tranquil escape and providing glorious views of the lake. The sunsets over the water are spectacular and you can watch them from your own big covered veranda. You can enjoy lovely bushwalks, fishing, kayaking, (single kayak available at $20/2hr, double kayak available at $25/2hr), water or jet skiing (bring your own boat/jetski) or you can do nothing at all. We also have a great bonfire area for you to sit around & enjoy and a huge hanging daybed which is just marvellous.

Our Studio = large (almost 50m2) room with a big veranda (25m2). It is set up just like a luxurious hotel room, clean, modern & private with own entrance. It has very comfortable queen bed , own bathroom, own kitchenette, gorgeous views of the lake, minutes to many beaches. Perfect for a few nights, romantic getaway or a long holiday.

Features: Reverse cycle air conditioning, own modern bathroom, queen bed, comfy lounge and that cowhide armchair!, dining table for 2, own kitchenette area (fully equipped), Nespresso coffee machine (limited number of pods provided), single wardrobe, quality furnishings, ceiling fan & remote, heaters, 42in TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi access, very comfortable outdoor setting, BBQ, linen and towels, DVDs, CDs, books, own separate entry and pets are welcome!!
You can have a access to our fully equipped laundry ($5/load).
The kayaks & our fire pit can be used only when the owners are in residence

Smiths Lake is a quiet holiday village situated approx 250km north of Sydney and 25km south of Forster. The lake is connected to our beautiful Cellito Beach. You can get to the beach by kayak (from the house) or by car (5min drive) or you can have a swim in the lake. In the village you will find a small general store, bottle shop, cafe, a butcher, a bakery, hairdresser/beautician and the famous Frothy Coffee cafe situated overwater on the lake front (with boat/kayak hire facilities). There is also a small playground area near the cafe. Pacific Palms Bowling Club has a nice restaurant and live entertainment on weekends.
Within 10min drive you will also have access to Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, Elizabeth Beach in the Pacific Palms area. Perfect surfing conditions on every beach (weather permitting). There are more shops, cafes, restaurants etc there. Forster/Tuncurry is only about 20min drive away – you will find there large shopping centres, more beautiful beaches, pools, tennis courts, cinemas and more other holiday attractions.

Hi - we are Bobby & Marzena - middle aged couple who used to live in Sydney for almost 30 years. We have now done the "sea-change" and have built a lovely house on the lake in Smiths Lake. We are retired and we like to spend time on the lake, fishing or on the beach swimming or just reading, relaxing and planning our next big trip. We have built the house so that parts of it can be used for holiday accommodation and we love to entertain Australian and overseas visitors. We have travelled a lot and we know what travellers need and like. We love a relaxed and casual atmosphere. So we hope to see you soon!
