Kyarni Retreat is easily accessible to Geraldton city centre and surrounding suburbs.
We have a new supermarket nearby with a bottle shop, pharmacy, newsagents, cafes and a medical centre.

Woolworths, Coles, and two local IGA supermarkets are within the city area. There are medical centres, pharmacies, Geraldton Regional hospital, and St John of God hospital nearby also, five mins by car.

We have many restaurants available within our city limits and also a couple of restaurants within walking distance of our location.

The beach is within walking distance from the house and you will meet many chirpy locals smiles and good mornings on your walk.

The local airport is an easy drive from our home via Uber or Taxi. Heather can also organize a transfer upon request.

We have a fantastic and informative visitor centre in Geraldton which has easy parking nearby, very friendly and staff just waiting to load you with info on the history and points of interest to visit in our local area.

The local museum is a must-see a short stroll along the boardwalk you will find cafes, parks, also easy beach access.
The West End houses several cafes, all unique, along with more boutique businesses. There is so much amazing talent here in the Midwest.

Heather has resided in Geraldton since 1999 after returning to WA from Kakadu in the NT.

Heathers interest include interstate and overseas travel, scuba diving, horse riding, exploring nature’s gifts whilst camping, kyacking, sailing, pottery, gardening, creating in her apothecary space and loves meeting new people.

Heather’s vast experience working within the hospitality sector includes having trained & worked within Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation including the renowned Gagadju Crocodile Hotel (Kakadu), also as a financial controller of a local resort in the Midwest, owner of a bed & breakfast and restaurant at Bremer Bay in the southwest of Western Australia .

Heather has run a successful Bookkeeping business since 2004 -2020 in the Midwest of WA and also a holistic therapies business.

Since 2015 family commitments have lessened and Heather has been able to spread her wings further within the field of Natural Therapies by gaining accreditation in Yoga, Remedial Massage and Ayurveda Medicine.

Heather has a clinic including an Apothecary onsite and practices Remedial Massage and Ayurvedic Medicine including therapies (PK treatments).
