Built in 1898 our beautifully renovated Victorian Terrace house is centrally located and walking distance to the city of Perth. The leafy street it is located in is very peaceful with off street parking. Our home is close to vibrant Beaufort street and the Northbridge Precinct. Restaurants, bars and cafes are plentiful and beautiful Hyde park is located just across the road. At the end of the street is a beautiful French Patisserie and the world Famous CHU cafe - perfect for breakfast.

The home is air-conditioned with a beautiful new bathroom - complete with full size bath separate shower and floor heating. The two bedrooms, Both with King Size Double Beds are both well appointed with 12 foot ceilings fireplaces to each and large wardrobes also to each bedroom. Perfect for extended stays to store your clothes and belongings. There are two furnished outdoor spaces to enjoy while you stay, and the added benefit of secure off street lockup garage for parking you car. The renovated kitchen is fully appointed with beautiful Jarrah timber bench tops and a fantastic large gas oven should you wish to cook and stay in as well as dishwasher and all that is required for an enjoyable and convenient stay. PLEASE see notes below regarding the number of bedrooms required.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are a couple wishing to use only the main bedroom and do not require the second bedroom, Please book as one guest. I have set the pricing system so that if two guests wish to stay in separate bedrooms (one room each) there will be a room hire fee of twenty dollars per night for the additional king size bedroom. The fee is to cover the cost to launder and iron all the additional linen and towels then clean and make up the extra room. PLEASE Also note the second bed room will remain locked if you book as a couple wishing not to use the second room. (if for any reason there is a change of your plans during your stay, and you find you would like the use of the second room. Please notify me and I will make the second bedroom available immediately once payment arrangements are made).
It is important to know that as guests no matter how many bedrooms you book you will always have full use of the entire home to enjoy to yourselves, in complete privacy during your stay when you book this home for any length of stay.

For our interstate and oversees quests we can help point you in the right direction to arrange airport pickups and drop offs and any other services you may need while you stay.

Provided for you during your stay will be:
Ironing board in the main front bedroom cupboard (Iron in bathroom cupboard). As well as mobile plug in oil heaters to each bedroom.
Bathroom - Hairdryer in the vanity cupboard along with soap, shampoo and washing powder for the washing machine, plus plenty of extra towels and toilet paper.
kitchen - the kitchen is equipped for full self catering with gas stove and gas oven, dishwasher (with washing tablets supplied), toaster kettle and all utensils required for cooking. We supply a few basics - olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee. Milk in the fridge. Guests will bring any food items they require for specialized meals and will leave the kitchen in close to the condition they found it at the end of their stay. All cleaning products are supplied for your convenience. Further to this we have a 24 bottle wine fridge in the dining room, which is very convenient for extended stays and entertaining your visitors - so please enjoy this at your leisure!

Please Note - A few tips to maintaining the condition of this lovely old home. Please no direct cutting with utensils or placing hot cooking pots on the kitchen Jarrah bench top, please enjoy the use of the large cutting boards provided on the bench to prepare meals when required and for placing pots off the stove. Washing machine is located in the bathroom with large undercover cloths line to the rear court yard for your convenience. Please also respect the 121 year old original soft wood Oregon timber floors throughout the home they are a little delicate and easily damaged, but their for all to enjoy. The location is a beautiful leafy old established suburb that enjoys a streetscape of lovely heritage homes of the Victorian era it is unique in Perth as the only area to enjoy the remaining beauty of these protected homes, this coupled with the established old beauty and charm of Hyde Park. As well as the convenient central location to Perth city it enjoys the juxtaposition of all the modern bars and eateries located in 5 minutes walk along Beaufort street or 5 minutes the opposite direction to china town on Williams street heading into the city. It truly is a unique stay for a foreign visitor and one that it also unique to a guest from within Perth!

Having lived in the home for many years I will share a few of my favorite local places to eat and drink. My first pick for an easy cheep meal is always Ischia Italian which is on Beaufort Street about 5 minutes walk form the house. Very close to the house or there is restraunt called the side door BBQ which is across the road form Ischia.
About 50m further north is two Indian restaurants (two fat Indians is good) and (GoGo's Indian is also excellent) both are just next to the queens hotel which is also a favourite to eat and drink at (beautiful open fire place in the bar). To spoil yourselves got to the MUST bar (opposite side to the Queens hotel) MUST is a very nice restaurant great menu and cocktail bar - tip its upmarket so dress up for this one!
There are about 15 restaurants with in the first 300m walk once you hit Beaufort street heading north away from the city.
Just walk to the top of Harley street, turn right and you will land on Beaufort street in a few minutes. On Beaufort street turn left and there are restaurants for a kilometer. Its one of the best things about the location. And another great reason to book your stay right now! :-)

Also on the dining table will be the parking permit for your visitors to park on the street (this permit must be placed back on the dining table at the end of your stay) the Wifi details will also be on the table for your convenience .
