At the Mylor Farm we're transforming a secluded cottage with beautiful gum forest nestled beside a creek into the ultimate farm getaway.

We have an established veggie and herb garden, as well as fruit orchard! We have a secret garden with tree fort, cut flower beds and further country garden.

Over 15 acres all to yourself and your family - use it as a retreat or a base for exploring the wonderful Adelaide Hills.

Stedet
Did you ever wish there was a place close to the city where you could go to get away from it all? Our farm is just the place. Just 25 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, yet a whole world away.

The cosy stone cottage has three bedrooms tastefully furnished with queen sized beds and soft freshly laundered linen. There is a fireplace to snuggle up to and read a book. A kitchen with stocked pantry to cook your own food and a large dining table to enjoy meals with family and friends. Relax and enjoy the view from the delightful lounge whilst listening to a record.

Outside is an abundance of fauna, including visiting kangaroos and koalas. For the birders, we have documented over 40 species of birds. Walk around and explore the woodlands with its wildflowers. Try your hand fishing from the creek, or bring a dish and pan for gold!

If you want to be active, our vegetable garden is seasonal, and you'd be welcome to help out. We also have further gardens around the house and a secret garden near our treehouse.

Other activities include hiking the Heysen Trail, mountain and road biking, and of course enjoying the local produce, especially the famous local wineries.

Gjestetilgang
You have the whole property to yourself! You are welcome to pick fruit and take veggies and herbs for your use during your stay. You are welcome to use the items in the full pantry.

Andre ting det er verdt å merke seg
The Adelaide Hills can get cold. Bring appropriate clothing, including appropriate footwear.

In summer, you should always have a mobile phone and be with someone who can drive, in case of bush fire.

Children should be supervised, and be taught about snakes.

Water is unfiltered bore water. We suggest drinking and cooking with spring water provided.

I'm a pharmacist by profession, but at the moment busy raising two toddlers with my husband, Luan, who is a doctor. We've lived in Adelaide most of our lives, but love to slow-travel, really seeing what it's like to live in an area. As hosts, we are happy to be available if required, or totally hands-off. We live just a few minutes away, so are right here if you need us.
