This Farm cottage; with spectacular views of Saddle Mountain, Young's Bay and The Astor Column, will take you back in time to the Fifties and Sixties with its Vintage Kitchen, movies from a time past and a peaceful farm setting just three minutes from downtown Astoria, Fifteen minutes from the beach and numerous attractions.

Stedet
Located on the historical Lewis and Clark Seed Farm established in 1935. This one bedroom, and living room sofa sleeper, one bath farm cottage sleeps 4 comfortably, in a peaceful setting overlooking Youngs Bay. With a view of Saddle Mountain, the Astoria Column, and beautiful lush green sheep fields, you will be drawn to relaxation. This is a bird watchers paradise. The cottage sleeps four comfortably with one full bedroom and a very comfortable sofa sleeper in the living room. All bedding is dust mite resistant and hypo-allergenic. We provide a fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove as well as a BBQ Grill and an outdoor patio with fire pit .Your choice of French Press or brewed coffee with fresh creamer. All your bathroom needs, such as Natural shampoo, conditioner, and Body wash, eye make-up remover tissues, blow dryer and lotion.
The living room has a smart television with many options Such as Netflix, and other apps. It to is stocked with games, 50's and 60's era movies,Carol Burnett Series and books with great relaxing healing substance as well as local history. Grab the binoculars and sit at the window and look at the great wildlife.
If you want to hear the history of the area I am available to visit also if you want a tour of the farm and sheep 101 class.
Five minutes from downtown Astoria (the oldest established city west of the Rocky Mountains), seven minutes from Lewis and Clark's expedition site, Ft. Clatsop, Fifteen minutes from Sunset Beach, fifteen minutes from historical Ft. Stevens State Park, and twenty minutes from family fun beach, Seaside.

When you drive over The Old Young's Bay Bridge into area where you will be staying, it is as if you have passed through a door to another world. You feel it as soon as you get out of your car, tranquility, calm, settling. The sheep grazing just feet away distract from the worries of what you are leaving behind. The bay front full of live to observe, and when the storms roll in in the winter the large windows in this cottage allow you to experience it from the warmth of the cottage. When you go out you can eat at the Sunday Market or great restaurants', The Art Walk and Brewery's, Astoria's Historic Museums and Architecture, Rent Kayaks or take the guided tours, Surfing and Zip lines, Historic Lewis and Clark Fort with the Fort to Sea Hike. Home of the Goonies and Astoria's' Film Museum with a variety of performances at the Liberty Theater, Sand Castle Competition in Cannon Beach and Volley Ball Tournament in Seaside. My favorite is Sunday night music at Fort George.

I have lived all over the US and there is no place quite as diversified as Astoria. We have the Beach, Rivers, Forest all full of great things to see and eat. The oldest settlement west of the Rockies is full of History and Architecture and new culture.
Hiking, Biking, Surfing, Kayaking, or just touring the rich lovely hills of Astoria. I am thrilled to share the History of the Lewis and Clark Seed Company, and the Finnish family that settled this area in the late 1800's, as well as the Sheep Farm that now occupies the farm. I do not desire to be anywhere else but just enjoy all this coastal community has to offer. The local Artists keep this place rich and colorful. No matter where I go I have come to believe my life's purpose is to be the example of true forgiveness because in that there is Power to overcome all fear, sickness and death.
I have lived all over the US and there is no place quite as diversified as Astoria. We have the Beach, Rivers, Forest all full of great things to see and eat. The oldest settlement
