DOGS WELCOME!

We welcome your dogs for a fee of $20 per night for each dog. Please indicate you will be bringing a dog when you book and we will request the extra pet fee when we receive the booking.


We are happy to have your dog stay with you in the cabin, but we do ask that you pick up after them anywhere on the property. Further, there are other guests staying in the adjacent cabins, so please do not leave your dogs unattended either outside or in your cabin. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from having the dog sleep in any of the beds. Please bring appropriate bedding for your pup. Lastly, please note that depending on whether we have other guests staying in the neighboring cabins, there may be other dogs on the property.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT:
It is rare that we have the availability to accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out, but if we do, we are happy to do so for an additional $35 fee.

Face Coverings and Social Distancing:
-We recommend face coverings for guests and employees when in any common area or in the vicinity of others.
-Workers have face coverings available and wear them when on property.
-Face coverings must not be shared.
-We provide face coverings to all employees. Guests are responsible for providing their own face coverings.
-We offer self or remote check-in and checkout.
-We have standard check-in and checkout times, and avoid early arrivals or late departures to minimize the possibility of disrupting the enhanced cleaning process between guest stays.
-We encourage all guests and employees to keep a 6 foot distance from any persons on the property not in their party.

Cleaning:
-We perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, common areas and outside areas.
-We use products approved for use against COVID-19 on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-approved list and follow product instructions. We use disinfectants labeled to be effective against emerging viral pathogens, diluted household bleach solutions (5 tablespoons per gallon of water), or alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol that are appropriate for the surface. We provide employees training on manufacturer’s directions and Cal/OSHA requirements for safe use. --Workers using cleaners or disinfectants wear gloves and other protective equipment as required by the product.
-Vacuum cleaners are equipped with HEPA filters. We avoid sweeping floors with a broom; if possible, and use a vacuum cleaner instead.
-All reusable collateral, such as magazines, menus, local attraction details, coupons, etc., are to be removed from guest rooms.
-Kitchen items, including pots, pans, and utensils, are cleaned between each guest stay. All dishes are washed, including the ones in the cabinet and others that may have been left in different rooms. -We provide adequate dish soap and new, unused sponges for each guest upon arrival.
-We properly clean all appliances and kitchen areas, including refrigerator shelving, the oven stovetop, coffee-makers, toasters, pantry shelves, and other areas.
-Dirty linens are removed and transported from guest rooms in single-use, sealed bags. Removal and cleaning of all towels and linens at the conclusion of each guest stay include all items, regardless of whether they appear to have been used or not. These items are bagged in the guest room to eliminate excess contact while being transported. All bed linen and laundry is washed at a high temperature and cleaned in accordance with CDC guidelines.
-We remove all leftover recycling, garbage, and trash from the rental unit. We line all the garbage cans to make it easier to dispose of tissues and other waste. We empty any food items the previous guest may have left in the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry.
-We do not shake dirty laundry. This will minimize the possibility of dispersing virus through the air. -Launder items as appropriate in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. We launder items using the warmest appropriate water setting for the items and dry items completely.
-We clean all soft surfaces based on the manufacturer’s instructions. This includes items like carpet, bedding, curtains, and upholstery. We remove visible dirt and grime and then clean with the appropriate cleaner for the material. We machine-wash items according to the manufacturer’s directions.
-Bathroom toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, cabinets, and shelving are sprayed with a multi-surface cleaner approved for use against COVID-19 by the EPA. Mirrors and any glass are properly wiped down. The bathroom floor is also vacuumed and/or mopped.


Communication:
-All temporary or contract workers are properly trained in COVID-19 prevention policies and have necessary supplies and PPE.
-We have the right to cancel reservations for parties with symptomatic visitors.
-We have new check-in procedures, physical distancing requirements, and cleaning and disinfecting schedules.
-In the event of a presumptive case of COVID-19, the guest’s room will be removed from service and quarantined. The guest room will not be returned to service until the case has been confirmed or cleared. In the event of a positive case, the room will only be returned to service after undergoing an enhanced sanitization protocol in accordance with CDC guidelines.
-All expectations and plans for cleaning and disinfection standards have been communicated to our professional cleaning company.
-We communicate with guests on the cleaning and safety measures implemented, both pre-stay and during stay, via the listing content and property information booklet.
Service requests should be considered with regard for the safety of maintenance providers and guests. To limit exposure, we defer nonessential maintenance while the rental unit is occupied and handle only emergency or urgent issues as allowed by applicable law where possible.
-Appropriate signage is displayed at the property entrance and other strategic locations on the property outlining proper face covering usage and current physical distancing practices in use throughout the property.

Equipment:
We ensure that any HVAC/air filters have been replaced per the manufacturer’s directions.
We equip the rental unit with additional hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, disinfecting spray or wipes, and hand sanitizer.

Hi! I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe. I grew up either hitting the slopes or the lake virtually every weekend. I am passionate about Tahoe and all of the amazing experiencing it has to offer, to name a few: hiking, skiing/snowboarding, paddle boarding, boating, fishing, biking (and I could keep going). After graduating from South Lake Tahoe High School I attended UCSC for my BA and UCLA for my PhD. I recently moved from the amazing state of California, I now reside in Michigan with my husband. My family and I hope we can share our beautiful Tahoe Cabins with you. The cabins are owned and operated by myself, my parents and my brothers. My parents live in Lake Tahoe full time and are eager to help make your stay comfortable. They love to give recommendations on what to do and where to eat, and live down the street in case you need them. Whether you are joining us in the winter for the snow and a cozy place to stay, or the summer for the water and fun in the sun, we can't wait to have you!
