A bright spacious twin-bedded room which has lovely views overlooking this picturesque little town in North East Fife. Enjoy exploring nearby St Andrews, Scone Palace and the fishing villages of the East Neuk, with Edinburgh just an hour away. Or treat yourself to a creative retreat - Newburgh is home to a number of artists and writers who relish its inspiring and peaceful setting.

Stedet
Bright colourful period home (1906), spread over two floors, with entry via an external staircase lined with flowerpots. The guest room is on the top floor and has a TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee tray. The large breakfasting kitchen overlooks the enclosed rear garden. I'm a metalsmith and textile artist and also an avid traveller and collector so the house is full of colour and quirky objects. Dogs are welcome (I have a laid back golden retriever.)

Gjestetilgang
There is a shared bathroom with a shower over the bath on the floor below the guest bedroom (so my home may not suit you if you go to the loo a lot at night) and you are very welcome to use the breakfasting kitchen in the evenings if you want to eat in.

Andre ting det er verdt å merke seg
Price per night: £27 single occupancy, £47 double occupancy. Includes continental breakfast.
Please note: There are two sets of stairs up to the guest bedroom (the second, internal one winds a bit) so if you are travelling with big or heavy suitcases, my home may not be ideal for you.
