We have owned this cabin and the cabin on the adjacent property for over 35 years. We hope you love it as much as we do.

  • The "v" in the mountains behind our cabin is called "The narrows" and through this pass in the mountains is Gettysburg.

  • Jewel of a Cabin is in the woods below this corn patch. Through "The Narrows" in the mountains is Gettysburg. This is one of many lovely views you will see in Adams County, PA.
  • Hauser Winery (5 min)
  • Beautiful fuller Lake at Pine Grove Furnace State Park. 10 min away.
This lake was voted the best in PA snd is a great spot to swim in the summer!
  • Upper Adams county is known for beautiful peach and apple orchards. The woods behind our cabin back up to apple orchards. 
This picture was taken in the McDannells orchard 5 min from our cabin--they have a great farm store that sells local fruits and veggies.
  • Awesome paddling at Long Pine reservoir near Caledonia State Park. Only 10 min away! This is also a great spot for fishing and hiking the Beaver trail which leads you along the reservoir's perimeter.
  • There is also a hiking trail that goes around this reservoir.
  • Fishing at Laurel Lake. There are kayaks and paddle boats available to rent during the summer season.
  • Berry Picking all summer and fall at Yellow Hill Farm (10 min)
  • Top of Pole's Steeple looking down at Laurel Lake and Micheaux state Forrest
  • Another view of Fuller Lake and a walking trail at Pine Grove furnace state park. This is one of our favorites places to visit--we swim, walk and ride on the trails, hike, and explore the creek. It's a 10 min drive from our cabin through beautiful Micheaux state forest.
