Restored 1783 New England Home on 27 Acres.This 1,660 sq foot historic house, relocated in 2020 from Middlebury, Connecticut to Deary, Idaho, was the home of Captain Augustus Peck who in 1776 at the age of 15, joined George Washington’s Continental Army as a private in the Third Connecticut Regiment, serving in the major engagements of the war including the Battle of Long Island and the harsh winter at Valley Forge.
Cozy "Farmshouse" Small Home! 20min from Moscow!This cozy "Shouse" (shop house) is located on a 136 acre farm. Guests have a view of a working cattle ranch with horses, a mini donkey, a pony and a few free range chickens. The "Guest Farmshouse" is decorated in French Country & Farmhouse Chic! Your host (Sheena) was a housekeeper for elite executives in the area for over 10 years. I am very meticulous and can guarantee a beautifully clean and comfortable stay. The house has been newly remodeled with a newer kitchen, carpet and paint!
Restored 1909 Train Car on 145 AcresStay in a restored 1909 train car, under a recreated depot roof. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co. We spent the first half of 2020 moving and restoring it.
