Dette kommer dere til å gjøre
In between the skyscrapers, towers, traffic and buzz of humanity, Bangkok hides a secret: a network of waterways that you can travel on without the stress of fighting traffic. We'll ride along the Chao Phraya or River of Kings and explore the "khlongs" or canals in a traditional long-tail boat through traditional old neighbourhoods on the quieter side of the river. We'll continue to the Grand Palace, home to the Thai King for 150 years. Strolling through the grounds feels like walking through an Asian version of Alice in Wonderland — the buildings are so dazzling they almost don’t feel real. We'll tell you all about the history of Thai royalty and the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand, Wat Phra Kaew. This place is considered to be the spiritual centre of the nation, a visit you can't afford to miss. Our last stop is Wat Pho, another temple that is integral to the Buddhist religion and home to the famous golden reclining Buddha. A must-see for any visitor, but many only see the reclining Buddha here. We'll take you through the grounds of the temple complex - one of the biggest in the city - where Thai massage was born and there are many other stories to tell. From here we can point you towards our favourite local restaurants for lunch and show you how to get to wherever you want to go next. We've got plenty of suggestions for other things to see in Bangkok - just ask!
Pam, Pat & Team
We - Pam, Pat, Pepae, Nai, Mond & A - are the Bangkok Urban Adventures team. We're based in the old city and two of our must-see sights are the Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. It's great to see the famous spots but we also like to show visitors a different perspective, and a long tail boat trip across the river and into the canals or "khlongs" will give you just that - a chance to see the local side and the reason Bangkok was once known as "Venice of the East." We're passionate licensed local guides who love the old city and it's historic sights. We don't want to show you just the famous landmarks, our passion is to help visitors get under the city's skin sharing hidden gems, and exploring the places that locals go while helping you learn about Thai culture and traditions.

Her skal du være
The Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho are two of the must-see sights in Bangkok. We'll combine them with a traditional Longtail boat ride on the Chao Phraya - the River of Kings and head into the "khlongs" or canals to see the city from a completely different perspective. This gives you the opportunity to visit both famous sights and hidden gems, exploring through the eyes of a local expert.
