At the arrival I will offer you breakfast, and I will give you a lab coat and a cap for the access to the production area. I’ll bring you along a complete tour to discover all the steps of Parmigiano Reggiano’s production. We’ll see where the animals are bred and where the milk is mould. We’ll go into the cheese factory during milk processing and we'll witness in cooking and making cheese wheels. We’ll see then the process of salting and maturing up to enter the huge “caveau”, where thousands of cheeses wheels are guarded and laid out in long rows in the silent maturation rooms and where the scent of cheese will smell so nice and exciting that we won’t be able to resist till the final tasting of cheese and local typical products.

I’m deeply connected to my roots. My grandpa was a producer of Parmigiano so as a child I could learn all the secrets of this cheese. We will see the places I have lived since I was a child, where my uncle still produces this cheese with the same passion that we share.I love conveying my knowledge to people from other countries, which I try to share the culture and traditions of my homeland with.

Our experience with Claudio was amazing. We learned so many new things about the process, the quality and the cheese. He is a great host and we enjoyed his tours very much. Claudio also gave us great information about Italy and made fantastic recommendations for the remarkable places we have left from our trip. 100% recommended !

I highly recommend this experience with Claudio who is an enthusiastic host. My daughter and I had a wonderful morning. We learned new things and tasted some excellent regional products. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another experience with Claudio.

This was the highlight of our honeymoon, or shall as Claudio says, our cheesemoon:) could not recommend this enough if you love local history, food and peaking behind the curtain of how this wonderful cheese is made. 10/10 recommend and thank you Claudio for everything!

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We got to experience the cheese making process from the grass the cows eat all the way to the final product, plus learn about the history of the region. Claudio was an amazing tour leader and his passion for cheese/food is an asset.
