I will receive you at Ruzafa Market, we will buy the ingredients for the seafood paella. We will meet the fisherman that everyday brings fresh fish from our coast. We’ll buy the rest of the ingredients all around the market to later go walking to beautiful valencia streets to get to the gastronomic club where is where the magic happens. Over there we’ll have some appetirers very propper of a valencian traditional experience and all together with the chef well start cooking the paella.
During the class we will talk about the tradition, culture,techniques and tricks to make the perfect paella.
Please, don’t forget that this is a valencian experience .You are a very important part of the process.As is your first paella you will have to participate actively in the paella making. At the same time we all will enjoy the good wine and tapas.

We will meet in San Valero church and then we will go to the typical Valencian Ruzafa market , once when we finished the shopings will walk throuh the beautiful Ruzafa neighborhood streets. until we get to the kitchen located very close to Ruzafa and the city of arts and sciences.

Was a fun experience with Maria and Jodi. It was interactive and plenty of great sangria and additional extra alcohol. :) The paella were tasty and really good!

Awesome experience with Maria and Jordi!! They made us feel welcome and made sure that we were all actively participating in making the paella. There were no shortage of drinks and tapas so come really hungry!

Maria greeted us near the Ruzafa Market and we bought the ingredients together. Then we walked over to their kitchen location and met Ramon, who showed us how to cook the paella and pretty much everyone contributed to the cooking process in some way. Ramon and Maria were definitely highlight of the experience. Incredibly friendly people who are constantly smiling and doing their best to make this a memorable experience. And the paella was pretty good too! Would definitely recommend this experience instead of overpaying for paella in a tourist trap restaurant. Thank you Maria and Ramon, you’re the best!

A brilliant time in the kitchen with local chef Jordi made up for a bit of a wasted time in a market and walking a long distance with a young Venezuelan lady.

We were greeted by the very lovely Mary, who met our group at the church just outside the Russafa markets. From there she led us on a trail through the markets, purchasing ingredients for the two types of paella we would be preparing. Our group of nine then made our way to the kitchen, where Mary showed us how to make Sangria, while our chef Jordi served us delicious tapas. We then all assisted in the making of paella and learnt the tips for the coveted 'socarrat' the crust. The dishes were delicious! Overall, this was an extremely fun experience, shared with lovely people. I'd highly recommend it!!!
