I'm Omar, an Architect.
2 years ago I retired from my day job to pursue a startup featured on CNN Philippines, The Final Pitch (PH version of Shark Tank).
Initially, I wanted to establish my own business to have control of my time & finance my love for travels documented on my blog (www.moleinthefoot.blogspot.com)
The travel bug bit me first, and is now a Department of Tourism Accredited Tour Guide.
Together with my batch mates in the tourism guiding course, we're taking this opportunity to improve and show guests the beauty of our city. I have 10 experiences to offer.
I am now creating a tour agency with my batch mates as my core team.
On a personal note, I was raised in the historical part of Manila, & my university within the walls of Intramuros.

Omar is a top bloke! He's very knowledgeable and has a lot to tell about the architecture and history throughout the walk/tour. Also, he even offered transport to and from the place we were going. All in all, Chinatown and Escolta Street are really worth a visit when in Manila and Omar is the one to show you around!

Omar is an excellent guide. Being an architect helped in his observation. When I remarked that one of the sights would make an excellent hotel for tourists his eyes lit up in acknowledgement. I really liked that at the end of the tour we went to the museum with the pictures of the buildings when they new. Nice job Omar

Being an architect, Omar brings another layer to the experience. In addition to learning about Manila's former CBD, I got to learn about the different building styles from the past eras of Manila. And he's very familiar with the area that he knows various tidbits that only longtime residents would know. Definitely a worthwhile trip.

I had three tours with Omar on my trip to Manila. In addition to the popular tourist spots, we explored other less-traveled locations. As a result, I got to take some authentic street photographs of the local scene. Strongly recommend this tour to people who want to know beyond just tourist spots and take authentic photos.

Cant be in Manila w/o having to visit its roots. Omar will bring you back in time when Escolta was the BGC of its time. History at its finest.

Omar picked me up at the hotel very early and drove me to Escolta. He grew up here and knows everything about the area. He has many, many stories to tell, and Escolta as well as Chinatown are two fascinating quarters of Manila you should not miss. In the end he even invited me to a vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown. He is a really interesting, friendly man with excellent English and I strongly recommend joining him in this tour!
