We’ll meet at Hammersmith Tube Station, from where we’ll walk to one of London’s oldest pubs, tied to London’s oldest remaining brewery. We’ll sample the range of beers here and I’ll share my knowledge of the art of good ‘Real Ale’. Next, a short stroll along the banks of the Thames, we’ll visit another pub steeped in history. Its beer range being expressive of the modern craft brewing scene, they even have their own ‘house ale’. After this we’ll cross Hammersmith bridge and take a walk along the tranquil South bank where I’ll point out some of the local landmarks until we reach our next destination: A pub that commands a view of the start of the Oxford v Cambridge boat race. This pub is tied to another of London’s oldest breweries and we’ll sample the differences in style and flavour of their beer range amidst its spectacular surrounds. Finally, we’ll continue our walk along the Thames, through a Classic Victorian park until we reach our final pub: a hidden gem that happens to be tied to another iconic, independent UK brewery dating back to 1790. This Victorian pub keeps its beer in excellent condition and is the perfect comfortable spot to end our tour, amongst locals, as locals
I'm a born Londoner with a Londoner's knowledge of this fair city. This love has led me to visit some of the world’s best brewing spots, brew my own beer, and volunteer, as a member of CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale), at beer festivals throughout the UK. As a guest in our fair city I want you to share my enjoyment: exploring, discovering and being part of its rich history- which I'll tell you more about...

By the fire supping excellent beer surrounded by locals in a riverside backstreet 'local.
