Born in New York City, I've been a licensed NYC tour guide and urban historian for over 20 years, educating and entertaining people from all over including NYC. This tour is about discoveries and surprises, of seeing Brooklyn in a way that you could not do on your own. It's about EXPERIENCING the Brooklyn Bridge as the great monument of its time (and ours) as we walk over it and learn its history. It's about breath-taking views on the East River from above and below. It's about visiting the serene Brooklyn Heights with 1800's houses and movie shoots; and the wonder of DUMBO, a former commercial slum that is now a vibrant commercial and residential community.
