Dette kommer dere til å gjøre
We will pick you up in our van loaded with our bikes and drive to the small village of Rupert where we will start riding the historical D&H rail trail. This rail trail is mixed surface and follows along stream beds and marsh lands with views of the mountains on both sides. Here you may encounter a deer that jumps out and runs ahead of you on the trail, turtles laying eggs, and a large variety of bird species. Did I mention the quiet? you won't hear traffic, and you will encounter very few people on this trail. We will head off the rail trail and ride on mixed surface roads to the village of Wells where you will have the opportunity to purchase lunch. Here you can browse the well known, Wells Country Store, and purchase anything from local cheese to dessert before returning to the van on a different route. In keeping with the nature of our tour, the return trip will include quiet roads and beautiful scenery. The total length of the trip is approximately 30 miles. The first part of the ride is flat and on the rail trail, the second half will be gentle rolling hills. The bikes are drop bar bikes, similar to a road bike but with wider tires, and built for mixed surfaces.

Her skal du være
This part of Vermont offers visitors an opportunity to see a variety of ecological diversity; from rolling hills and farmlands, to river marshes. There are no maps available for this ride and few people in the area even know it exists, which is why it is a best kept secret of southern Vermont.
