Dette kommer dere til å gjøre

On a Sensory Based Wild Food Foraging walk, for nurishment and Wellbeing, you will be taught techniques & skills to heighten your awareness while out there 'gathering' plants, which you can then use to help build your own personal knowledge & experience of them, both essential to safe learning.

Once upon a time, the knowledge of which wild foods we can eat, and those that may be deadly poisonous, would have been passed to us through our ancestors. We would have navigated pastures & woodlands to gather our food and medicine, building a map of what was where at which time of year, so that as and when we needed a specific plant we would know exactly where to go.

On our walks we will work closely with our sense of smell, touch, sight, taste & most importantly our intuition.

By working with your senses, you will be encouraged to connect on a deeper level with the plants, and yourselves.

Your initial booking cost (£150) gives you the option of having a private lesson, or bringing up to three other guests with you - it is possible to expand your group to a maximum of 8 people, for an additional charge, details on how to do this will be emailed to you once your initial booking has been confirmed.

Since my own cancer journey in 2007, I began to realise the importance and power that plants offer on an emotional, healing and nutritional basis.

Amongst my continued lust for relearning this plant wisdom, in 2014/15 I completed a year-long Sensory Herbalist Apprenticeship with the Seed Sistas of Sensory Solutions and the Ring of The Wild Food Year Teacher Trainer course with Ffyona Campbell, 2017.

My real passion is in the simple art of eating and drinking wild food!

Her skal du være

Our walks vary in location depending on where the plants are abundant at any one time.

We mainly keep to the Blackdown Hills - a unique and largly unspoilt landscape, full of hidden valleys and natural springs.

At times we also host walks along parts of the Jurassic Coast in East Devon.

We'll confirm exactly where to meet us on booking.

As well as morning walks, we can also arrange to meet after lunch...please just ask.
