Our lesson starts at 10:30, 12, 16, 18 or 21. One lesson lasts about one hour. if you need a personalized time, please write to us. 1) The host, in kimono, will give you an introduction about History and Sprits of Japanese tea ceremony. 2) You'll seat on the chashitsu (the tatami tea room) where you can admire the flower composition, the Japanese painting scroll, you can listen the slowly simmering of water and smell the incense in the brazier. (it is necessary to climb a flight of stairs). 3) Watch the way of tea and have matcha & sweets. Usually we do the more famous moment called "usucha" (thin tea) but you also choose the less famous but more traditional moment called "koicha" (thick tea) in this private session. 4) Let’s try whisking matcha tea by yourselves! Obviously you can take photos and movies! You must have with you a white clean pair of socks and temporally remove all jewellery for not to damage the straw floor (except ear rings and the wedding ring if it is flat and without stones). If you have some problems to sit on the floor please write to us so we can prepare a chair for you.
