My passion for being a tour guiding comes from my family background of political activist during the struggle against apartheid in South Africa, and my uncle Mbuyisa Makhubu was the one carrying a lifeless body of a thirteen year old boy Hector Pieterson in the famous picture taken by Sam Nzima, in 16 June 1976. The students were marching against Afrikaans used as a medium of instruction. I have a certificate in Gauteng culture guide and I have 12 years experience travelling around South Africa, and experience the divest nationalities and different cultures South Africa offers. In 2019 I won a Lilizela award for the best culture guide in Gauteng.
