In this online experience, I start by sharing about my meditation practice. Next, we’ll do two types of meditation together.
First is a chanting mantra for 20 minutes. This type of meditation allows you to go deep into your practice. Next we will do a 10-minute breathing-out meditation. Afterwards, you’ll share your questions and reflections on the practice.
I am also happy to offer other meditations, such as meditation with a candle or mirror, Qigong, Sutra copying, and counting meditation, one of the basic Zen practices.

You need to download Zoom onto your phone or computer before the experience starts.

I've been a Buddhist monk for nearly 20 years. I worked in Shitennoji Temple for 12 years as a monk, doing zen meditation. I have been doing guided meditations for Airbnb guests for five years, welcoming nearly 4,000 guests.

I have done meditation sessions with Suzuki San several times. Really enjoy how he brings a lot of energy into the sessions, and I leave each Airbnb experience feeling rejuvenated. The chanting meditation is especially refreshing - even for someone like me who meditates everyday, there is something special about chanting sessions with him that helps me connect with my inner self. Would highly recommend this Airbnb experience! Think we could all do with more peace and inner calm especially at a time of uncertain like this.

This was a wonderful experience! Actually I haven't meditated in quite some time (since my mother's death several years ago) and this teaching and practice has INSPIRED me to re-start my practice! Kuniatsu is a delightful teacher, very funny, clear, and had great examples of why we do certain kinds of practices. I learned a lot and felt extremely centered after our practice. I highly recommend taking the time to do this!
