Everyone is creative in some way and this process encourages the expression of that. Ideal for anyone – experienced to beginner – to play, explore and reconnect to their inner wonder child. Give yourself time off to silence your mind and breathe - no expected outcome, no judgment, no need to get it right - just a chance to relax into playing with paint, and listening to the messages from your soul.
We start with a mindful meditation and connection to self, learning how to follow your body's way of saying yes and no. Then using that information you select the place to create, the instruments and materials to use. There will be guidelines on how to move away from that loud inner critic and keep painting so that you can create something that will truly surprise you.

Throughout my life I have shied away from getting a formal qualification that would label me as an expert of anything, finding safety rather in being a Jack of Many things with a lot of varied interests and in that way have embraced my differentness – my uniqueness. Art has been my backstop through all of it, it is the one thing that connects me to myself and grounds me in the moment. As a perfectionist however it was very hard to create without the Dragons coming out to play. SoulPainting & Intuitive Creating gave me a chance to let go of the outcome, to move beyond my need for perfection and to create from a place that feels good and when it no longer did then to find another way back to that place. The spill over to other areas of my life has been phenomenal and I love to share that with others.

The studio is on the patio of one of the old farm houses in Randburg. A wide open space opening onto the large secure garden, so lots of places to choose to create in. There are blinds to keep the weather out if needed.
