Dette kommer dere til å gjøre
I'll meet you down on the sand the day of our surf experience! There I will have all of the equipment you'll need to be super warm and comfortable as we get ready to jump onto our surfboards and into the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The first 15 minutes of instruction takes place on the beach where I will cover positioning, paddling technique, the pop-up, and some safety tips. After that we spend the rest of the time in the water surfing, and if we're lucky, paddling around with the dolphins :) My teaching style is very hands on and promise to get you up and riding our very first session! Once everyone is exhausted, usually around an hour and a half, we head back on the sand to take some photos and talk about the experience. I love talking about the history of our beach town, recommending places to eat and other things to do around the area.
Born and raised here in South Bay's Redondo Beach, I've been surfing for over 20 years including 6 of competition and teaching close to 10. It still excites me every morning to be able to share my passion with people from all over the world. I pride myself on the quality of attention I give to each surfer and the speed at which they progress. FAVORITE SURFERS: Kelly Slater, Owen Wright, Matt Wilkinson STANCE: Goofy FAVORITE WAVE: Bingin Beach, Bali HOME BREAK: Ave B

Three questions I get all the time. 1. Yes, you must know how to swim. 2. No, there are not dangerous sharks. 3. Yes, there's a high probability we will be up close with the dolphins!
