Hiking for 5 hours into the Hope Valley of the Lewis Pass in the Southern Alps with Tamara your knowledgeable local kiwi guide. She will share local stories and teach you about the local native forest and wildlife. Fishing Salmon and Trout out of the Hope River or Lake Sumner with Aymane a local freshwater fisherman. He has all the tips and tricks on flies and spin casting in the region. Aymane will arrange for you a fishing license for the day so he can legally teach you and hopefully help to hook a fish. If you would rather spend your afternoon exploring the mountain ranges or chilling in the valley or at the hut let us know in advance so we can arrange this for you. Staying in the Hope Valley Hut for the authentic New Zealander experience. Hopefully, You and Aymane have luck catching a fish for dinner Aymane is a qualified chef who can teach you a thing of too about cooking fresh food if this is your preference. Remember the number one aspect of having us guide you for this trip is your safety and the second most important aspect is that you enjoy yourself and have fun! if you let us know well in advance we can arrange to extend your trip so you can spend your second day all day at the hut or fishing or doing an activity of your choice.
