You'll be greeted in my house, more specifically in my office, where I usually hold my tastings, and we will have time to know each other. There will be time to drink a coffee and a glass of water while we get set up for the tasting. First we will have a small explanation of the product. We will talk about Cacao as a plant, the fruits of this amazing plant, the way is cultivated, exported and produced. Basically we will have make the same journey as the cacao beans from the beginning to the end, when this curious plant will become a chocolate bar, truffle or simply cacao powder for a nice hot chocolate. Then together using a degustation technique, we will learn how to recognise a great chocolate bar in a shop. Believe me, this will be very useful in the future. Straight after we will have a tasting of different type of chocolate. Do you think you can recognize a pear chocolate from an apple chocolate? Could you recognize a salty chocolate bar ? Believe it all seems quite simple... but it isn't. And at last but not least we will prepare a delicious cup of hot chocolate to drink together at the end of our tasting. This degustation is a unique experience, it is not a visit to the chocolate factory, is not a branded sponsored tasting of a chocolate company. After this journey you will have different knowledge about this amazing product.
I am a former restaurant manager of five stars hotels around the world and founder of the start-up company D-Plan Consulting. Food and travels is what defines me. I am curious about any sort of Eno-gastronomic item and I spend many years to develop my knowledge. However, what really makes my heart beat is the world of pastry, and to be more specific the world of chocolate. Not only as a proud Swiss, I love our products but I believe the world without chocolate is not the same. The antic populations used to call the cacao the food of god. I think they were completely right. I think people don't know enough about this product. And I can't wait to share my knowledge about this delicious product. After this unique experience you will never eat chocolate in the same way.

This tasting will be held in my apartment, and more precisely in the office of my company (which is in my house). Where I have created a place to host my degustation and my courses. There is enough space, there will be a coffee machine and water available for everybody.
