Starting with hand-crafted, wood-fired street tacos in the vibrant beach town of Rosarito, guests will hear from some of the men and women who created unique styles of traditional dishes and kept their history alive through food! Traveling further south about 90 minutes past the San Diego/Tijuana border we will visit with a local top chef who will give us a brief tour of his organic garden before treating the group to an exclusive wine and food pairing in their small, gourmet kitchen. Following this pairing we will visit another beautiful garden to learn more about the exciting new style of cuisine in Valle de Guadalupe - Baja's famous wine region - which is commonly referred to as "Baja Med" or "Baja Mediterranean". To finish the first day we will relax at a boutique, historic oceanfront hotels to let the sound of the waves crash on the sandy Mexican beaches. On Day #2 guests will be treated to a local feast for breakfast on the rooftop deck looking out over the Pacific Ocean. Next we will travel visit an incredibly scenic viewpoint for a photo opp before driving to Downtown Ensenada to enjoy seafood tostadas from the most famous street cart in Mexico - The Ceviche Lady! After breakfast on Day #3 we will visit a bustling market place where many local chefs visit on a daily basis to source fresh and hard-to-find ingredients for their dishes then drive to Tijuana.
