Alpaca trekking here with us at Beirhope is a unique experience. On arrival we will give you some treats and opportunity to meet our herd of male and female Alpacas. There are great photo opportunities from the start and the Beirhope Team will happily take photos for you as you meet and feed the Alpacas. You will be given an introductory talk about Alpacas, their likes, dislikes and quirks. You will be matched to an Alpaca and shown how to walk with them and Health and Safety information. We then head out onto our 75 minute trek, into the Cheviot Hills. The routes are all along defined paths; the Alpacas make for great company and the wildlife and scenery along the way is simply breath taking. Along the way we chat about Alpacas, and about our guests. We like to get to know our visitors and ensure they have a fantastic time with us. We take photographs for you, point out local landmarks and have a fun and unique walk in the hills. Upon our return to the farm there's chance for more photographs of you and your Alpaca. To round off the visit complimentary hot drinks our on offer in our Trekkers Barn, along with chance to exchange stories and review photographs of your walk. We have on offer to buy some small Alpaca related items to remind you of your day with us here at Beirhope.
