I’m a Haitian-born linguist who runs the Haitian Creole Language Institute of New York. I teach using a cultural lens that introduces my students to the Haitian Creole language through a variety of cultural events that often involve food, music, and dance. I’m a language advocate and my activism is heavily rooted in Haiti. I love to read, eat, and spend time with my partner.
